Can anyone recommend a plain blue dress shirt fabric that isn't poplin?

I am looking for a go-to blue dress shirt for the office and ordered the poplin but found it wrinkles way too easily.  Any suggestions?

Shirt was ordered 2weeks ago
I use bill me later so when the order is made there's a hold and Paypal notified me 4 days ago that its been charged

Ahh, makes sense, it sounded in your post like you just placed the order 4 days ago. If its been 2 weeks, it should definitely ship soon!

Regarding denim shirt, this is what I have in mind. Luxire, have you got similar fabric?

So I've read the hype. I've sent in a well fitting shirt with only minor adjustments for luxire.

I ordered this guy

with a 1738 collar. Let's see what the hype is about. Can't go wrong for $60 IMO

The answer is yes. Will try and explain the concept of denim shades with pictures in a week.

We were reviewing our latest harrington to realize that they are nicely finished on the inside as well. Can easily be 2 jackets for 1 with some minor tweaks in design. Superb value.

this might be something for me. it's impossible for me to find a decent windbreaker or light jacket with suitable sleeve length. And I desperately need one for the fall golf season. quanto costa?

Update on my last trousers: very, very comfortable. I feel like I can sit in them all day without any problem. Luxire did fantastic job. They made few adjustments to my hip-back area and I can feel the difference.

I am choosing the next fabric, just now! happy.gif

And so we now present the moment a few of you have been waiting for: Does It Fit?

Instead of a lengthy exposé, I'll just show you pictures with a bit of leading context.

  • The jacket I sent didn't fit anymore, it was too big in the midsection in the front and rear.
  • This is a program that's just getting started and they're still ironing out the details.
  • I apologize for the picture/outfit quality. It was still before dawn and this wasn't the jacket I was wearing that day, but I decided to take pictures anyway because I knew I'd never get around to it otherwise.

The Pictures! (Click to show)

(Just realized I left out two of the screws on that light panel. Ask me how many times I've shocked myself while troubleshooting one of the switches. shog[1].gif)

So, are there fit problems? Of course. Almost all are derived from the same problems that the sent in jacket had, but to a much lesser degree, which is encouraging. I'm not at all sure why the sleeves are too long, the sleeves on the sent in jacket showed a bit of cuff in my photos. The imbalance problem at the collar is actually an issue with one side of my chest being bigger than the other, and the collar of the shirt being messy from running around.

I already have a list of changes I want to discuss with Luxire, but if the forvm has input to add to make a jacket more in its image, I'm open to suggestions.

Also, I know the photos aren't the best, but that's the non-iron blue chambray shirt fabric from Luxire in the first photo, since people were asking earlier.

Wow, you seem to have very irregular, square but also rounded shoulder shape. I think pictures with just your shirt showing your natural shoulder line would be helpful to compare against the shoulder fit of the jacket. I assume this a linen jacket with very little structure and padding? It would appear you would benefit from a more structure jacket construction.

Why would you send in a jacket that didn't fit in the first place? plain.gif
