Do you seriously think it's reasonable to expect Luxire to go searching through your posts to find out what fabrics you are looking for? Let me guess: Millennial?

I will comment on the fabrics alone as I think the items need several washes and wears before I can conclude on the fit.

The Grey Knitted Pique too feels fantastic against the skin. The shade of grey is a little darker than what I had imagined from the pictures, yet very nice. The heathering is noticeable yet very muted. Recommended!

To close things off I would like to express another time that the worksmanship and dedication to details of the Luxire tailors is outstanding.
Little pieces of fabric are attached to the inside of the collar of BD shirts to support the shirts fabric against being damaged while doing up the buttons of the collar.
Not a single loose thread or flawed seam could be found on the entire order.
I love how the "open end" of the fabric at the inside of the placket is sutured (?) so it won't unravel and how the placket is hold in place. I have not had a single shirt, neither RTW nor MTM, which did not start to unravel and/or to have a twisted placket because there were too little or too poorly executed buttonholes to hold the placket in place.
It is surely noticed and highly appreciated!

How is the polo fabric, construction, collar?

We have created a chart for the required measurements, needs some more additions. Will add it here soon.

Among the few jackets we have shipped recently, no major issues, fit or otherwise have been reported. Couple have come back for minor changes.

Keeping that in mind,  we are working on a "package" that would include one in-house fitting. We will send you the jacket/suit with a prepaid Fedex return label. You can try them out, take pictures, discuss changes and send them back.

We will make the changes and send them back to you. All using Fedex/DHL 2-day service. This whole cycle can be completed in as little as a week.

The shirt is made grounds up for you and starts with a paper pattern made only for you. No base patterns, no templates.

thus, each and every aspect of each and every Luxire clothing is customizable.

To repeat myself, the pattern is then saved with your order number written on it for future use. Thus, if you would like to replicate the measurements, you can refer to the order number again.

BTW, is this the infamous NOBD collar? If so, will it fly with both casual and formal shirts?

The NOBD is currently our most popular non-button-down collar.

Even ten dollars from each should add up fast.

That sounds promising!
Being really impressed with the quality of the pants I got from you, I will surely have a SC / suit made soon. You already have a beautiful blue windowpane fabric on your page!
Can't wait to see the measuring instructions!

does anyone have a pic of the NOBD collar worn?

Couple of questions:

-any plans on having brown chinos in the future?

-is this http://luxire.com/products/bronze-twill-chino similar to this: http://epauletnewyork.com/collections/trousers-chinos/products/rivet-chino-duck-canvas-caramel

-and between http://luxire.com/products/green-chino and http://luxire.com/products/hunter-green-twll-chino which is more close to this: http://whyyoumad.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/uniqlogreenpants.jpg

when these SCs get off the ground, my wallet is toast.

I'm imagining that we can ultimately put together suit combinations from the jackets/pants materials that are available?

Yep... it'll be the trendy one to see soon enough. I have three coming! (Two new, one remake).

Great. I need about twelve donations for my next shirt. Is it possible to add the option "Add $10 to NOBD's Luxire account" to the order form? smile.gif

To list a few Suit Fabrics that have caught my interest:
- Fresco

- Finmeresco

- Crispaire

etc and any others that you'd recommend for Indian/ Asian summers.

What is Millenial?
PS: I figured they would know which these are or post back with some suggestions.

Will they respond now?

what's the nobd collar order number again? hah
post #3238 of 12421
anyway, new order came in. I think I'm just gonna give up on pants at this point frown.gif the shirt is great, fit is better, although there is still some tightness in the chest that I can't really explain. maybe I'll take a pic after a good ironing.

What happened with the pants? Are you sending in pants that fit well to be replicated or taking your own measurements?

Fresco we do carry currently. Will look at adding the other 2 as well.

When mentioning the 3, New Fine Worsted by Dugdale should be considered too. Very similar.

My personal favorite summer wool currently is their Cape Breeze.
