Yeap, it's the English Spread, but NOBD gave me an idea to get my next collar.

Thanks! It's the blue check or something like that, this one: http://luxire.com/collections/all-sorted-by-price-low-to-high/products/small-blue-graph

Got my Luxire Sky Blue Summer Chambray shirt, took an outside pic, felt it was a decent representation of color:

Only interesting note is the curved sides in the collar, which i liked form my Zegna shirts. Unlined, and unfused, it will make a nice casual summer shirt:

My only question would be, what would the next step be in collar shaping?

Will asking for light lining give this collar a little shape, while not being as stiff as Luxire's standard collar?

P.S. I like the new black sewn logo too...

If you don't mind, what's the measurement of the back of the collar, and the neckband height (from the back)? Also, order #? I like how the collar turned out.

Goods

- Fit is nice, shoulders fit nice, chest fit a little big, but since I'm planning to grow it a bit it's nice. Waist is nice and sleeve length is perfect.

- Fabric: I have bespoke shirt from a local store that cost me $3,000 pesos and the first time I wore it, it felt kinda itchy. I thought that for a $60 shirt I couldn't expect more, but the fabric is real nice.

- Construction: I can compare it with that bespoke shirt metioned above and this is contructed way better.

Bads

- The cuffs. I asked for miterred cuffs, but I think I didn't asked for the length of them so they are quite short, but I can live with that. Next order will need to take that into account.

What's next:

- Ask for Finamore collar type (unlined)

- Maybe more tie space

- Shirred shoulder

- Fit pics, maybe tomorrow but it won't be ironed until wednesday for use until saturday. smile.gif

Pics:

Overall, real happy with the shirt.

That's a really nice shirt, how long did it take to get to Mexico?

Thanks, it's a great shirt, it truly is such a nice versatile shade of blue. Good luck with your order! You'll be happy with whatever you pick.

Thanks very much. The order is #3471. I didn't modify any of the collar measurements on the english spread, except that I asked for no tie space and 3.5" collar points. Not sure what you are asking for with the first measurement, but the neckband height is 2". Happy to take a measurement if you can clarify.

A whole bunch of lovely looking shirts. Great choices gentlemen!

I would love to see the following stripe in both a cotton and a linen fabric:

My four items seem to have left the Luxire facilities around midnight and 12 hours later they appear to have already arrived at Germany, great!
Also do love they are now being shipped with DHL.
There is one of those DHL automates right next to my house where I can have packages sent to and am able to pick them up whenever I want to.
No more risk of missing the postman and having to wait for his return or worse, having to go to the post office.

The color seems similar to the grey white pinstripes that I ordered but Luxire's seems like a smaller scale. http://custom.luxire.com/collections/stripes/products/grey-white-pinstripes

Appreciate the reply. This photo should illustrate what I mean:

3.75" collar points, 1.75" collar height and 1.5" neckband.

2" neckband? That sounds rather tall!

I think I'll get the same -- English spread, 3.5" collar points, no tie space. Definitely shorter neckband and collar height though, my previous order's collar is way too tall for my liking.

Yeah reverse that - the collar height is 2". Rough estimate on neckband is 1.75, but I would have to measure. I agree that it is a bit tall but I was worried how the collar points would sit on a shorter collar

Thanks Carlos. In fact it was really fast, they shipped it on June 18th and arrived yesterday, and best of all no import duties or something like that.

Luxire shipping is lightning fast. I kind of wish they would wait until it gets picked up so it's not quite the teaser it is. It some times takes 2-4 days to get picked up.

They emailed me as it was leaving. So I got the notification Friday and they're (split in two packages) arriving tomorrow.

Oh I know it will be. I already have 10+ Luxire shirts. It's just amazing how your tastes change so rapidly. All the ones I have now have a collar I'm not so fond of.

Also, I have ZERO patience. I'm eager to receive these. Unfortuantely they're all patterned, no blue chambray with a collar I want. I will order at least one shirt tomorrow though.
