OP can correct me if I'm wrong on that. If that is the case, it actually seems like bad business on Luxire's part, and it goes against their policy. If Luxire made errors on the shirt (which it definitely sounds like they did in this case), the customer shouldn't be expected to pay for anything other than return shipping.

If that's the case, that's one thing. The charge though makes it sound like there was some change from the order.

Yeah there may have been other factors involved. It does sound really strange to ask for an extra $20 to fix a problem that was Luxire's mistake.

Didn't have a good experience?

Luxire, will you do a women's trench coat? What would be the price and which fabric could it be chosen from?

No surcharge for contrast lining. Can be added on either side of either placket, inside collar, cuff, under collar, sleeve placket, gusset, pocket etc.

No. The $20 is for return shipping, which is as per the standard policy at the time of the order.

To address these concerns, the policy was changed recently and the same was announced here when it was changed.

^ that's kinda what I figured. OP's complaint isn't really valid now - at the very worst maybe there was some miscommunication and he thought he had to pay more than was actually required?

Some of the contrast options

As posted some time ago I ordered a shirt in Sky Blue Twill from Luxire, which arrived last Monday.

I'm very happy with the quality of the materials and the details though I, like others, would prefer thinner buttons (I feel these are hard to close and fear they will wear off the buttonhole-thread too soon).

I measured my best fitting shirt and tried to change the measurements where needed. As was to be expected the fit is still off, which is not Luxire's fault but entirely due to bad measuring and wrong fitting decisions on my side.

I sent Luxire some pix. Theresa advised me on some fitting improvements and I have already ordered a second shirt. Will go from there and plan to replace all my ill fitting shirts in due time.

I would like to hear some opinions on the custom made collar:

I ordered the Luxire Semi-spread with soft fusing and light lining. Additionally I asked for a collar band in the Satriano Cinque design as seen on this pic:

The pic is from Permanent Style from this review where you also find an explanation.

Here are some fit pics where you can see the result. I think it looks good but would love to hear your opinions:

Thank you.

Difficult to say but did not get that feeling in the emails exchanged.

Good timing, I'm interested in getting a women's trenchcoat for my fiance as well. It's been tough for her to fit Burberry OTR, and there's no way we're going to afford their Bespoke/MTM service.

I don't see any examples on your website of either men's or women's trenchcoats. I think people here would be interested if you posted some pictures here on the forum.

I don't know if you have noticed their signature, but it is: "Tell us what you need and we will make it for you"
Do you want a trench coat equal to a Burberry one with eight red belts around the chest and a monogram of a dildo on the back? Done.
Do you want a waist long trench coat in green with blue belts and white arms? Done.

There are however some pictures of a coat some pages back.

Edit: Found them.

I think the collar looks fantastic.

Sleeves and cuffs are a little too full and too long for you. Easily corrected.
