We can source any of the tweeds sold by Dugdale here and here.

You can choose from any of our fabrics. The lighter ones can be constructed to add weight. You can also order your own custom prints which we can make for you.

As a long-time lurker on this forum, I have gained incredible wisdom from others and I feel the need to add my experience to the record as it relates to Luxire.  First, let me say that I am by no means a virgin when it comes to MTM -both brick and mortar and overseas.  In the past, I have worked with CEGO, Mr. Ned, Hemaranji, Modern Tailor ... and the list goes on.  My experience with Luxire has been unique, and not in a good way.
 
It began simple enough.  I was in need of a dependable source of plain, white, inexpensive dress shirts.  Modern Tailor is my usual go-to for something like this, but they did not have any decent plain white fabrics that excited me.  So, hearing all the buzz about Luxire I decided to give them a try.  I had taken the time with Modern Tailor to really dial in my measurements, so I measured one of their shirts for the measurements Luxire wanted - they use slightly different measurements than Modern Tailor.  Reading Luxire's posts in this thread, I knew that they encouraged people to write comments on their order to make sure that the shirt comes out the way they want it to.  So, I said I would like the collar to be 2" in the back with 3" points.  This is a pretty standard collar and the exact measurements of the default Modern Tailor collar and is the same as a few of the shirts I have from CEGO.
 
I received my shirt in about the time they quoted on their website.  The fabric is very nice for the price, but immediately I noticed the collar was really weird.  I measured it and the collar had one point that was 2.875", one that was 3" and in the back the collar was 2.25" tall.  I tried it on, hoping that the collar would be wearable, but it was not.  When I buttoned the collar, the back rose up so high that I was unable to tilt my head back or move much side-to-side.  The rest of the shirt was close enough to the measurements I ordered, but the collar was simply unwearable.
 
I emailed their customer support address alerting them to their error and asking what the procedure is to correct it.  To my dismay, they said they can attempt to correct their error (with no guarantee of success) if I paid them another $20 and also pay to ship the unwearable shirt back to them.  I replied that it was not acceptable to me to charge a customer to correct their own error.  
 
In response, I was told that they consider collar height to be neckband height, insinuating that the shirt was not made in error.  They said that it was a "feature" of theirs to have a tall neck band and that it was "standard among premium shirt makers."  I have never heard of anyone refer to the neckband height as collar height.  When I ordered a collar with 3" points and 2" in the back, I'm not sure how much clearer my instructions could have been.  I measured the neck band on CEGO's and Modern Tailor's shirts and both were about 1.375".  Luxire's neck band was slightly over 2" tall.
 
I have not gotten a response from them in over two weeks.  It's a shame.  The fabric is nice and the price is right, but if they won't stand behind their product, none of that means much to me.
 
Take this review with however big a grain of salt you would like, but I thought it was important to put my negative experience with Luxire out there.

This same argument happens about every month it seems.

You agreed to the terms when you bought the shirt. It sucks that the measurements were off--it happened to me--but those are the terms you agreed to.

I still think Luxire provides a great product.

Just to note: Luxire's Shipping & Returns page says that shirts that are made incorrectly will be remade "free of cost."  I took them for their word.  Oh well, lesson learned I guess.

It's always good to get a full sense of perspective for any vendor so I appreciate your sharing. May I just clarify that you asked for a 2" collar (at the back) and got a 2.25" collar and found that difference made the shirt unwearable?

Yes, but perhaps what had the larger effect was the neck band in combination with the collar.  I'm an average height guy - 5'9" and I have a pretty average stature with an average length neck.  Maybe I'm being too picky, who knows?  My perspective is that if I am taking the time to go MTM, the result should be a) what I ordered and b) something that I feel comfortable wearing.  Regardless, I understand that errors occur and they certainly have for me before with other makers, but the response from Luxire in this case has been underwhelming.

^ Don't waste your breath on this thread, which might as well be renamed "Cheerleeding for Luxire". All less-than-stellar reviews will be lambasted, and heretics shunned. So much for objectivity... shog[1].gif

I think this guy actually has a legitimate complaint this time, compared to some other reviews that have been posted here. I may have read his post incorrectly, but it looked like he said Luxire asked him to pay for return shipping AND pay an additional $20 to have the issue corrected. OP can correct me if I'm wrong on that. If that is the case, it actually seems like bad business on Luxire's part, and it goes against their policy. If Luxire made errors on the shirt (which it definitely sounds like they did in this case), the customer shouldn't be expected to pay for anything other than return shipping.
