Thanks, emptym. And that was the default taper? Sounds like I don't have to specify the sleeves.

No prob, NOBD. I think that much taper, or perhaps a bit more, is standard. My first batch was about 9.5" - 7.75" - 6.25". For the second I asked for the armhole to be narrowed .5" and the result was 9" - 7.25" - 6.25". For the third, I asked for the armhole to remain 9" and the elbow to increase back to 7.75". That's been perfect for me. Gives me the ideal amount of shoulder and elbow room. I might be a bit off about the actual measurements. I didn't check my order forms. Just measured a shirt from each batch.

Thanks again. I'll just go with the default sleeve taper and see how that works.

I think I'll choose the sky blue summer chambray. Yes: chambray smile.gif. Seems to be a nice casual summer shirting.

I've never worn (or even felt) chambray before, but everyone says it's a great summer material. Can someone compare it to linen? That shirt NOBD just posted says it's 100% cotton so I'd assume chambray is just a type of cotton and thus not as light weight as linen?

Linen is not necessarily light weight. Heavy/thick linens exist as well.

The chambray is called medium weight on the website.

Luxire, what would be the specs for a collar like this?

Button down collar is already an option on their site.

No, I meant what would be the length, the spread, and how would you achieve that collar roll.

Order 3062 is a Barba button down collar with collar roll, you could refer to the order when ordering.

Do you happen to have photos of the shirt from order 3062?  Satisfied with the collar?

The points look shorter than our standard button-downs. Would thus say 3.00" points Button-down with a roll. No lining.

Your website says those living in the US should ship samples to your new jersey address so why request shipping a sample to India?

All samples for customers in US and Canada should be shipped to our office in NJ.
