Thanks, lipe. I'll give that a shot on my next shirt! If I increase the yoke measurement, do I need to simultaneously decrease the arm length measurement in order to keep the arm length consistent?

Damn, good question. I didn't even think about that when I specified more slope in my latest order. Back to the drawing board! I'm starting to feel like Dr. Frankenstein.

^^ I'd have thought not as arm length is measured from centre of yoke, right? So increasing the yoke should give a little more room to the shoulders without lengthening the sleeves I would hope.

Hey Folks!

After receiving my first shirt from Luxire, which I am quality wise very pleased with, I want to do some major tweaks before ordering my second one, and this is where you come into play - I need your advise, so here we go:

The shirt is based on the following body measurements:

Neck: 43 cm
Sleeve: 96 cm
Shoulder: 49 cm
Chest: 106 cm
Across chest: 40 cm
Across back: 47 cm
Waist: 87 cm
Length: 83 cm

Back: Side Pleats

Note: I prefer my shirts to fit slim

The problem I see is a major excess of cloth around the chest- and back area, which probably is caused by my unusual figure:

I have very slopy shoulders, furthermore my shoulders tend to point towards the front, causing that my back measured from left to right is wider than my chest, so:

What would you guys recommend? How can this be adjusted?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Kind regdards

I had really good luck with a handful of safety pins and a ruler.

Pin the shirt back in spots where you want to reduce fabric. Measure how much you removed by pinning it back, and exactly where at (it helps to start with the places Luxire does their standard measurements at), and send the changes to Luxire.

For what it's worth, I think your initial fit is pretty close, and I'm not sure your body type is as unique or as difficult as you think.

I think the pin and measure method will work well for you, because to my eyes, you need to reposition a number of "pivot points" in the shirt (such as the seam between the upper shoulders and the arm opening). Once you get those in the right spots, it'll be a massive improvement.

I agree with Dachshund. Luxire defines the sleeve length from the center of the yoke to the cuff. This means that you don't need to decrease sleeve length when increasing yoke measurement.

I think Luxire could give you a more precise answer but small changes to the shoulder slope should not cause the need to alter the sleeve length.

We do feel confident about our bag making skills and want to take in some orders to really test them.

We will thus take orders for 5 bags/totes at $100 each. Send us an email with your requirements. We will choose the 5 bags we will want to make.

We will thus source the requisite leather, canvas, brass hardware, other required items and then make the bags.

There is not much of experimenting or learning so we expect the process to be quick, except the time required for sourcing the material.

Finally, these 5 orders will be backed by a money-back guarantee. If you do not like the bag, we will give you a complete refund and we also pay for return shipping.

To make it sweeter, if you would then write a detailed review with nice images for the item, we will refund the $100 paid for the bag, making it free.

Warzone White Plus Oxford is thicker than the other. It also shrinks in the tumble dryer.
