All that said, turnaround time on a pair of trousers I just ordered that I knew they had the fabric in stock for, was excellent and every email I have sent lately has been promptly and competently answered. I am also sympathetic to the logistical and financial challenges of trying to stock all fabric under the sun to please all of us.

I might have been extraordinarily lucky with my previous orders that had 10-12 day turnaround (thats regular calendar days) and my order from Aug 20 hasn't been shipped yet, I just want to know if thats still in line with the norm or if I should just change the fabric

Is the Luxire cotton linen canvas light enough for beach wear? If yes, which color would pair well with tan for a beach setting? Was thinking shadow blue (http://luxire.com/products/gov-shadow-blue-canvas-54002_106), steel blue (http://luxire.com/products/gov-steel-blue-canvas-54002_4026) or maybe indigo blue (http://luxire.com/products/gov-indigo-blue-canvas-54002_108)?

Or should I go for pure linen?

Another option is to go for a suit in the tan mohair linen.
For a beach wedding, I'd go with off-white pants in linen/cotton. Maybe gray linen. The blues seem a little risky to me, but of the two, I think the second would look best w/ that jacket. But I'd want to see them irl before deciding, so if you have enough time, I'd get swatches.

Best to check with Luxire directly to see if they have the fabric you ordered in stock. My last order from
The summer sale took about 2 months, but it included some Minnis Fresco pants that I know they don't keep on hand.

@watchidiot I have the blue linen-cotton canvas, and I would say they're a bit heavy and stiff for beach wear for most people.  I'd wear them, but I think they're perfect for 70s-80s weather.

Are snap buttons an option for shirting?  Thinking of having Luxire do a western style shirt, and while its the yoke style I'm really after, the usual snap buttons would be nice to have too.

Whoever is writing the copy for your tumblr is literally just throwing words together:

"Everyday Shirt: Pale Blue End-on-End Dress shirt from Luxire is definitely going to flood in array of statements for the season’s closet must-haves."

Good stuff, unfortunately I saw a blue shirt described as "crips" and given where I grew up, I feared Luxire has just declared their set.

Nice. The wool seersucker looks excellent. Are there more colours than midnight? Well, midnight is great in any case.

Quick question: when you send something to get copied, does that get sent back with the new items purchased, or is it returned in a separate shipment?
