I have this fabric in both the default dark navy and a medium wash. The dark denim was stiff until about the 3rd wear and is currently breaking in nicely. The medium wash was extremely soft upon delivery.

I just want to say a big thanks to Luxire, @luxire, I received my first fall items order today--3 pairs of cords, 1 VBC flannels, 1 selvedge denim, AND my first jacket build (from replicating a sent-in sample)--every piece came out perfectly.

Very impressed how they nailed the jacket on the first go.

Fantastic.

@luxire is there any chance you could source a indigo/black selvedge denim for jeans? I am looking for a good quality Japanese denim in 13-14 oz. like below:

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v80), quality = 90

Thank you,

DL-

^ speaking of options for jeans, how about a nice grey denim or an eggshell white denim?

We do have 2 options in wool ready available with us. One is from EThomas and the other is from Vitale Barberis.

Will try and have those listed in a few days.

I was hoping I could get the collective opinion of the folks here on what trouser would pair well with a tan mohair linen SC (http://luxire.com/products/harrisons-mersolair-linen-mohair-tan)?

I'm attending a beach wedding in the tropics and requested to be in beach formal. I actually am confused as to what that means so I'm thinking odd trousers + SC.

Is the Luxire cotton linen canvas light enough for beach wear? If yes, which color would pair well with tan for a beach setting? Was thinking shadow blue (http://luxire.com/products/gov-shadow-blue-canvas-54002_106), steel blue (http://luxire.com/products/gov-steel-blue-canvas-54002_4026) or maybe indigo blue (http://luxire.com/products/gov-indigo-blue-canvas-54002_108)?

Or should I go for pure linen?

Another option is to go for a suit in the tan mohair linen.

Is there a way to tell if a specific fabric is out of stock? (lustrous white shirt)

If you can't order it, it's out of stock. Also some branded fabrics are not always in-house and are ordered once you purchase, I think.

I have emailed in the past and now do as standard policy as I ordered pants in a fabric that was apparently not in stock and took a long time for them to get and the delivery missed the event the trousers were purchased for.  I also ask for swatches for my "next idea" to be shipped with the current order - that helps confirm what they have on hand.

My order from the Spring Sale got delayed because a couple of the fabrics ended up being out of stock. I only found out when I emailed for a status update a month later. A couple of the fabrics I had initially been interested in were out of stock too, found out when I clicked "Purchase."

It kind of feels like Luxire has outkicked their coverage with the rush to offer a million different fabrics. Things seem to be out of stock much more frequently and that fact isn't always communicated clearly. It's frustrating to get an order pegged down only to find out that the fabric is out of stock.
