I'm glad I asked, then! I assume we can go with the usual 'order now and send details later' approach? I have to send a pair of trousers in for replication, and I need to check a few tweaks to my shirt pattern.

Yeah, you can do that. At least it says so in the email I received from Luxire!

Placed an order myself, including a pair of Indingo canvas pants and the following shirts

  • Blue pinpoint Oxford
  • Yellow Summer Gingham
  • White Cotton-Linen

Hey Luxire,

Been wondering for a bit now, since Luxire has been on the top of my mind for a while, would it be possible for you guys to duplicate the Pivot sleeve construction, and the hidden button for the collars that Outlier has in some of their shirts? I've fallen in love with their fit, the ease of movement of the pivot sleeves, and the hidden button function.

Would that be outside the range of customization?

Please let me know if you guys see this, thank you!

Inspiration from @CruzAzul and ordered Cargo style pants/Polo shirts. As always awesome work by @luxire

Given the questions regarding timing of deliveries I felt I should at least share my most recent experience.

Placed an order 15/05 for 3 pairs of trousers using previous measurements.

I should note that I was out of town at the time and then sent an email regarding measurements/fit adjustments and seeking feedback on 16/06 and received an initial response with a few suggestions.

There was a delay as the person handling my initial query was away, and I received a further reply 9/07 requesting body measurements and offering a refitting in the form of a pair of test pants at Luxire's cost, further tweaks, and a second trial pair of required.

I was actually very happy with the the fit of everything in my most recent order up until then, with the exception of the seat and rise only - probably due to my incorrect measurements. I suggested that these were really the only adjustments required to correct the fit issues on 17/07.

3 days later on the 20/07 a DHL courier delivered my order with, and I'm extremely pleased. Luxire's alterations to the my pattern had resulted in an exponentially superior fit.

The two aspects of this are really that the timing of delivery my order was quite obviously heavily influenced by own mis-measurements and requests. These were addressed very politely, if a little slowly, and ultimately executed in the fastest and most satisfactory way.

The second is that providing further information in the form of body measurements, garment measurements from a well fitting item, and a pictures achieved a far better result than simply providing garment measurements alone,

I realise that I may sound like a bit of a Luxire fanboy, but I have purchased quite a few items from them now over the past year, and struggle to see a better (or even comparable) alternative in terms of value for money (particularly considering the level of workmanship and customisation).
The tradeoff, I suppose, is that in order to benefit from the above, one should accept the possibilty of an extra few weeks wait. Seems like a tiny price to pay.

Thanks Luxire

Tl;Dr: Order placed in Mid May with subsequent fit adjustments/advice requested in June met with a generous offer of 2 trial pairs. Order delivered 3 days of confirmation of measurement changes. in mid July with fit issues resolved (option of trial pair graciously declined).

Do place your order and announce the chosen color here. If you will accept any of the other colors in substitution, let us know as well.

Purchased! I haven't added my measurements or any notes yet. But I'm very much interested in the '510046', which looks like an Olive to me. I am curious who else is in this group buy and what colour they have chosen.

@luxire I've already placed an order last week but want to add a couple of shirts with the fabrics you've listed a few pages back. Can I place the order and have it shipped together with my original order? I know I will be charged shipping again but can I get that reimbursed (or kept as a store credit)?

Order and pay for the amount the shirt fabrics would cost sans shipping through additional services. http://custom.luxire.com/products/additional-service
Either add your instructions to the notes during checkout or respond to the email with the new #order number and let them know that you would like to have it shipped with the previous #order.

Unfortunately the thesummersale code does not apply to "additional service". Of course I can just add the discounted value already but not sure if that's OK.

$20. I added them for my most recent order as they were all Grandi and Albini fabrics and it seemed worth it. I'll post some closeup pics when I receive the order for reference here.

Has anyone had any issues with the thin MOP buttons cracking when dry cleaned? My cleaner has said that there is a greater risk of them cracking the thinner they are (which makes sense), but I'm wondering if this is a serious concern or not.

May I ask why you take your shirts to the dry cleaners?

Not my place to answer, but I have a business, 4kids, etc... Don't have time to launder/iron myself.
