Thanks!

We will add our images here and on the product page with code today to end any confusion.

Many thanks. In terms of shade should I be aiming for the light-medium grey or medium grey for a first pair to match with a navy blazer?

It will mostly be a matter of taste. I prefer light gray. Medium is fine, though it has the "security guard" look associated with it. Light gray creates a starker contrast, which conceivably yields greeted matching potential.

In any event, you will be fine with either option!

Yes, we do keep making improvements based on what we keep learning.

On the new website, we intend to have a set of standardized options in images and text, something like in the image below. The first image shows the style selector. The second image shows the details of the style that will be shown in the style selector.  These will be shown as scrolling images in the grey part of image one.

There will be text that will talk about the standards for each style option.

This may not cover some of the construction standards but there is a way of seeing those too, which the screenshots below do not cover.

----------------------

The basic flow will be that you first select a style. It may be a standard style or your own previous style or a customized style.

Then you select the measurements: Which may be standard, customized, or body measurements or send samples.

Body measurements are being completely revamped. We foresee that to be the most widely used option in the near future.   Seeing good results in our tests.

Do place your order and announce the chosen color here. If you will accept any of the other colors in substitution, let us know as well.

I am traveling at the moment but I have all 3 swatches and the light fawn will be the most useful. It's has some beautiful mottling, and is light enough to work with nearly any sport coat. I will order as soon as I get a chance.

My vote is for light fawn.

any thoughts on a collar for striped oxford? will exclusively be worn in a CBD environment with no tie

I was pleasantly surprised with the inclusion of the Ban rol on my latest order, and wish I had requested it on previous orders. Personally I don't see any downsides unless you are particularly averse to having your shirt stay tucked for some reason.

Just placed my summer sale order for two new shirts, some khaki chinos, and grey wool rich trousers for work. I've had to email a couple of times to check fabric availability and for recommendations to alter previous patterns, and email response has been within hours, very impressed.

I've noticed a trend with my last few orders. I wait about two months, email about the status, and always hear that they're starting production the next week. Then I get the item soon afterwards.

Either I have fantastic timing with my emails, or they're waiting to begin production until bothered with an email. The turnaround times are still fine, but I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this.

The one exception was the linen sale earlier this year. I had my item in 10 days, quite a bit before another order I actually had outstanding at the time.

@luxire any comment on which is more of a "wheat" color? Thanks a ton

@luxire sorry to be a pain, but any help? Also, are all the colors in stock right now? Thanks much

@Academic2, did you go for the black and white checks in the end? I'm considering this cloth and any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I don’t have much to add, except to say that the check is darker and thus more pronounced in real life than in the website photos.  Here’s a representative shot with suit and tie so you can get a better sense of the scale.

Cheers.

Interesting! Do your orders contain a lot of notes?

Because, if the order has a lot of notes, then the person who needs to work on your order document will keep putting it forward waiting to be "at ease"  to work on your order. When they get your email, they say "ok, too much of pushing forward, let me work on it now", hence the reply.

This is the only scenario I can think. Do PM me your account id, will like to verify my theory.
----------------------

Most orders these days are fulfilled within a week. The ones where fabric is to be ordered or are complicated get delayed.

Thanks, and very good of you to dig out the picture. Looks just what I had in mind.

Is it my imagination or do the Black White graph checks appear to be blue?
