I've been looking for shirts á la Viyella: tattersall, glen plaids, checks, etc. If I sent you the fabric, would you make pure wool shirts from USA sourced Pendelton wool?

Glad to make shirts from the fabric you would send.

Does anyone know how to specify a smaller collar and cuff width? The default collars and too big for thin people.

When placing your order, you can add your requirement to the notes.

Our default cuff height for 1-button cuff is 2.5". You can add to the notes, cuff height: 2.0" or the required measurement.

Our default point length for semi-spread collars is 3.0".  You can add to the notes, Semi-spread collar with collar points : 2.5" or the required measurement/style.

The new website, which is in progress, will have options for most items people request. Example screenshot below.

Everything will have editable fields with default options.

Still some more work remaining so do not have an ETA, but things are moving in the right direction.

Some of the collars have the same name and shape as those from Proper Cloth.  That seems quite wrong.  I hope you talked to Proper Cloth about borrowing their collar and shapes. If not, I would highly recommend doing so or at the very least changing the names of the collars.  Not a smooth move, Luxire.

Got my linen/cotton canvas jacket back. Shipping back to India was pretty easy as it turns out, they fixed the lapels, and shipped it back to me really quickly as well.

Thinking I may need to get the shoulders narrowed by 1/4 inch on each side. The shoulder seam apparently extends into the sleevehead which extends the effective shoulder unlike what it would be with a true unconstructed shoulder + spalla camicia construction. So possibly, my measurement might be right for that, but with the current method of construction I think I need to narrow it slightly.

Shirt is also Luxire:

These are just the trial/place-holders used by the third party developers and not the final names. We are aware of our responsibilities.

We will have a completely different set of collars based on our knowledge of what our customers actually order.

Thanks,

The customer service team changes have no effect on processing of orders, once they are placed with the required details.

If there is some query, then that aspect is a bit slow currently.

I have the same problem. Ordered some LP pants a month ago and the fabric hasn't even arrived yet. Wish I knew they didn't have it in stock.

As has been discussed on the forum a few times, many fabrics from Dugdale, Minnis, VBC, Grandi Rubinelli, Albini, Delfino/Carnet, Fox, Molloy, Brisbane Moss are not stocked with us and are ordered from the mill on receipt of customer order.

In the new website, we intend to have an estimated delivery date against each fabric to know whether we have the fabric in stock or is received on order.

@luxire you mentioned there may be some crowd sourcing options, to encourage multiple orders in the same cloth at a discount, is this still in the plans?

Keep up the great work, just received my suit and it is being pressed for a wedding I am in.
