I'm a big fan of the Turner (I think version 3 is the latest) one piece collar for going unbuttoned. I've also got a longish neck and think the collar works well for me, but you might search out the measurements and pics in the Google doc/its links if it's a big worry for you.

Looks like exactly what I had in mind actually - thanks!

Prior to wearing it I wanted to give it a wash wash, as there were no washing instructions I decided to machine wash it at 30 degrees on a 15 minute cycle. The shirt was then put on a hanger and allowed to air dry. I kept looking at it and could help but think it was looking huge. Once dry I put it on only to find it has grown. For example the sleeve length, from centre of the yoke to the end of the sleeve, has gone from 34.5 inches to 38 inches! Does anyone have and ideas what has happened, why it's happened and how it can be fixed? The yoke, from 18.5 to 19.5, the length from 30 to 33 and so on. Luxire, if you are reading this it would great to hear from you. Many thanks

Don't dry knitted shirts ón a hanger, they will stretch more or less. Let them dry flat. Good news is that the shirt will return to its normal size after washingand drying. But expect the shirt will stretch over a day of wear.

Hi Turner, thanks for the advice. It's just had its third wash as I also hoped that it would reduce in size. The 2nd wash improved the sleeve length a little and I ran the 3rd wash on a higher tempreture, 40', hoping that might help. Both times I've laid it flat to dry. The early indication is its still too long. I did try it on out of the box and it was fine, more or less. I've waited a month for this, my first made to measure item af clothing and it doesn't look like it'll get any use, gutted!

If you really want to shrink it, toss it in the dryer. For a SHORT period of time, then gauge the results, repeat if necessary.

I really like the collar, but the enlarged placket can be a bit akward, if the fabric is transparent enough. I want to order a white linen-cotton shirt with the Turner collar and I'm thinking about asking for a normal placket because of that.

I have sent a mail to luxire and I am waiting for response, as long maybe you guys can help me with measurements. I have used popover shirt several times and washed it 3-4 times, I think it's some measurements I want to change to my new order. Is there anything you see that you think I should change on the next shirt, + or - on some measurements? Overall I think the shirt fits good, but when I move my arms forward or upward(picture 5 and 6) the fabric spans very much on my lower arms/back. You can see the red circle I have marked, that is the area i mean the fabric spans.

What measurements do you think I need to + or -? Thank you!

Have sleeves set in perpendicular to waist. As it is they seem to be set in facing down. Details can be found on their "Classic Vintage Sperapoint Collar Shirt" page: "Body and sleeve are at a right angle, thus the shirt remains tucked when arms are raised" http://custom.luxire.com/blogs/luxire-custom/6514547-classic-vintage-spearpoint-collar-shirt

Hi guys,

I'm having some slight fit issues with my Luxire trousers regarding my bow legs. My trousers have a roomy, classic fit.

Has anyone succesfully managed to target bow leg issues with Luxire trousers? If so, what command or request do I have to give Luxire with my next order for a good result?

Thank you all in advance.

Engineered Garments uses a lot of their fabrics. Not sure what their wholesale pricing looks like but they have a lot of neat patterns.

While you're here, any update on the Red Black Big Gingham Flannel or something similar? A buffalo check flannel is a must have and it's been out of stock for a long time!

Will try writing to them and see if we can order small lengths based on what a customer would want.

Will try finding the flannel again. We generally start shopping for them in Autumn but can see if there is anything available currently.

I just got my first order from luxire. Vbc mid grey wool pants. The rise is lower that i wanted and I checked. The front rise measurement is shorter than the measurement I gave them. Also the inside buttons came broken. Does anyone have experience with this? Would I be successful in contacting them and getting another pair made.
