If I could trouble you for a picture; I would love to see this fabric in natural lighting. I've been looking for some time now for a certain grey green or grey taupe trousering and this seems to be a close match.

Sure, will try to get something this evening. I have the Tobacco Brown and its certainly not green, but it is very versatile.

Not trying to be a dick but I can't get behind that kind of throwaway attitude.

I say that my method of care doesn't wear out my shirts even after several years, you read that as a "throwaway attitude".

Whatever, man.

This. I guess you could get it with a spread collar, but that's not really ideal for this fabric. I have it in an OCBD and I've worn ties with it and a SC or blazer many times, but never with a suit

Got it. Just asked since you said it was a great shirt to have many of. I like to keep casual and formal seperate so you won't be seeing me in any casual ocbd fabric with spread collar.

On another note, placed my first order 2 weeks ago for off white linen trousers and a light blue chambray shirt. Can't wait (actually I can, after my first arrays into bespoke I've learnt to be very patient...)

Sorry if I misinterpreted the gist of your post. In my defence: English is not my first language.

No worries. It's not my first language either so I probably fumbled my end of it as well.

Is that more of a casual ocbd or a dressy Oxford you can wear with spread collar and worsted suit?

I have one with a spread collar and I like it a lot. I generally only wear sport coats, but I'd wear it w/ a suit. I think NOBD had one made w/ a spread too.

I'd also wear it w/ a suit if it had a button-down collar. OCBD's are pretty commonly worn w/ suits in the US at least. It's a pretty traditional look along w/ penny or tassel loafers, which some also prefer not to wear w/ a suit.

I'm w/ the Europeans on not drying shirts though, mainly for environmental reasons. I even didn't dry when I had a studio apt.

Second attempt at a pair of trousers from luxire, definitely more successful second time around. small adjustments to be made but pretty happy overall. wrinkles are from sitting down all day at the office.

Those are excellent. Can I ask where your jacket is from?

Clap - Here you go. Contrasting colors with navy lambswool, a black lab and Scottish green grass.

Very nice. Some of these young bucks breaking the rules ("Look ma, no socks w/ my oxfords, and my back blade is longer than the front!") are creating their own set of rules. Such is life.
