Seems like a ton of blue striped shirt fabrics are OOS.  We need a refresh!

Edit: Or the names in the thumbnails haven't been updated to show that they are no longer out of stock?

Hi everyone!

A few of my orders from luxire:

Chino and jersey shirt:

Oxford university stripes

With shirred shoulder & cuff

10cm long tab collar (Ok, it was too much! I'm now waiting for a 8,5cm tab collar! )

VBC Flannel:

I will probably make the pants larger from the knee from now :/

@CruzAzul I'm really entertaining the idea of ordering a CruzCoat!

We never see the back of these coats. Did you ever ask for an action pleat or a half-norfolk belt? Or even a shirred back?

Would Luxire charge anything for one of the specs?
Last question, is the cruzcoat based on the "4 pockets shirt jacket" or the "safari jacket"?

@luxire Do you guys have any experience in doing a banlon style polo, i.e. a polo where the hem is a waistband, as opposed to the more traditional tennis tails?

I think your pants look fine. But I am often not as conservative as most on here.

I know Luxire can source H&S flannels, so does that mean they can presumably source any H&S fabric?

Would be very curious to get some Crispaire trews.

The back of all 4 CruzCoats has been plain. The last two had a center vent which I've settled on as ideal for the design.

I can't speak for Luxire but they've never charged me extra for any such options.

It's an original design; I didn't base it on any existing product.

Received my custom belted button-less shawl-collar robe yesterday

Luxire pic (Click to show)

Collar and fabric isn't exactly what I wanted, but none the less very happy and it will get a lot of wear, both in place of lighter jackets as well as a layering piece.

Modified NOBD II Collar - taller band and increased collar points.

Can be made, with the limitation of having the right color rib. We have ribs in few colors and glad to use those.

Yes, we can source any of the H&S fabrics.

Looks really great.

What did you not like about the fabric? I think it looks fantastic and I want one, but only as a morning robe to wear around the house.
Which fabric is it?

@luxire do you have some recommendations for fabrics that I could use for a morning robe?

Items like this is the reason why Luxire is such a unique company.

And I am still interested in more information on the knitwear.

What type of stiffness option are there for collars and cuffs?  Fused and unfused, other?

Luxire should really make a wiki or knowledge base with all possible options..

Light, Medium, Stiff for each. Also unlined is an option.

So, unfused with a light interlining or fused with a medium interlining, for example. The famous NOBD collars are lightly lined but unfused. I personally prefer my dress shirt collars with medium fusing. You can also specify to have different fusings for the band and collar, such as a lightly lined but unfused collar combined with a medium fused band to help it stand up (which is the basis of the broke and bespoke collar).

Hope that helped!

There's nothing wrong with the fabric itself, the cotton and quality both seem excellent, it's just less structured/thick than I ultimately would have preferred
(it's also something I was kind of expecting seeing how it is 100% cotton, but one can hope right)

For reference, this is what the design is based off:

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

If they ever offer some type of thick felted wool fabric in grey in the future I will probably get another one of these, which might turn out more similar to the picture above^

(would also decrease the width of the collar and change the construction a bit to also make it more like the above)

Didn't mention it in my original post, but Luxire actually made two versions of this, one in dark blue and one in a lighter green.

This is pure speculation, but since I decided to only get the blue one I assume someone else could buy the green one if they wished

(afaik it's identical to mine besides color, so it should fit someone else who's around 6' and a EU46 in suits)
