Dibs. Everyone saw me say it.

Not a great photo, but a great material -- brown/black linen from the recent sale.

I steamed out the wrinkles (as much as is possible with linen) but haven't washed it yet. It'll be a little slimmer with a softer collar after that.

Any update on the sweaters?

Hoping I get that beta link.

Also hoping my latest order ships soon!

I saw this fabric during the recent sale and almost got it thinking it was a trouser fabric. I think a linen brown houndstooth like this would look great for some pants. Shirt looks good too though!

Some questions for the crowd:

Does anyone have a recommendation for a nice mid grey linen or linen cotton trouser? I really like the light grey ones I just got (photo posted yesterday) but I'd like a mid grey pair as well. Basically like a Minnis 0501 but in linen instead of flannel.

Would the linen-cotton canvas trouser fabrics be good for a jacket? I like my Brisbane Moss canvas unstructured Luxire jackets, but I'm wondering if the linen-cotton canvas would make up into an even softer version of a similar jacket to the canvas ones.

It may just be me, but every time I have had a pair of gray pants that were not wool I never wore them/never looked quite right. For me linen and cotton are best in tan/cream.

I almost started thinking the same thing, but then I thought maybe it's because I haven't found the right fabric yet. I wear linen pants in all kinds of colors and all kinds of shades - chocolate brown, navy, indigo, drab sand (really more of a medium brown), ecru, etc. I wear linen about 75% of the year so I like to have more than just really light tones to wear. Or I could always just give up and stick to Minnis Fresco if I want lightweight grey pants! smile.gif

Me too! I only have one pair but I need more. I'm thinking my next bigger Luxire purchase might be a full Fresco suit.

I have their navy and mid gray. Very happy with both! A full suit purchase would be badass

Do you guys line your Minnis fresco pants to the knee?

If u think there's a possibility that you'll be sensitive, then to the knee is a good idea, although the scratchiness ime is more from thread ends exposed along the over-locking at the seams, and the lining doesn't protect u from that.

Yes

Doesn't that defeat much of the benefit of the cloth? (Assuming the breeziness is a key factor in your selection...)
