I am not current but my Experience 1 year ago is that I ordered on Feb 5th and they shipped on April 8th.

I have my eye on a stripe by them so I would happy to hear more current time estimates.

As am I. I was planning on a five-seven stripe shirt order this week. I did not know it was a potentially longer turn around on the Rubinelli fabrics.

Hope someone can confirm/deny this.

My only G&R order (this was just a few months ago) was a longer turnaround than usual -- they had to order it in (and that was going to be the case for the other couple of G&R fabrics I asked about too).  Took something like a month from order to shipped, I think.  Great fabric though, if you're not trying to get something ASAP.

G&R, Minnis, Dugdale, Albini, VBC, Loro Piana, Fox, Molloy, Holland Sherry, Carnet, Brisbane Moss:

Some fabrics from these mills are stocked at our premises, while other fabrics are ordered from the mill on your placing an order.

We generally place an order with the mill every 1-3 weeks, depending on number of pending orders. Delivery can take upto a week. This is the wait that is added to your delivery when ordering garments made in these fabrics.

In the interim, we get the pattern made, which reduces your overall wait time.

----------------------------------------------

The process of ordering fabrics from the mills is currently manual. In the new website, we are creating a process to automate the same so that the order is placed with the mill every Monday and is delivered to us in the same week in most cases. Also, we will be adding a field called "estimated delivery date" for each item on our website. That will help you better understand when an item can be delivered.

For those of you considering the Easy-to-Iron Blue Graph Checks. I like it.

Collar is NOBDII. Tie is T&A.

Is that lack of tie space typical on your NOBDII collars? For neckties I order the same one but collars never looks like with a tie.

Here's a better pic (hunched over at my desk)

I go for the NOBDII all standard. Should I add some space so you think then?

I think the collar might simply be a little too big (1/4" or something), and the lack of a tie space and the two collar "wings" overlapping each other is because the too-big collar is cinched by the tie and need to position itself this way to fit under the tie. Hope the explanation makes sense in my no-so good English, this morning!

Does Luxire automatically make a crease for all trousers (wool and cotton)? I don't see it available as an option.

Appreciate the opinion but the collar size is perfect. I could add a space sure, but it looks good to my eye and fits under my jacket lapels well. Different strokes, different folks!

Mine have it, but then I always order 'dress pants style'. Your experience may differ if you order 'jeans style' :-)

What is a Hidden Sleeve Placket Button?

Does Luxire leave extra fabric in the hem (to lengthen/let out) on uncuffed pants? I only have cuffed pants and there is no extra length in the ones that I own...
