Thanks!

EDIT: I've got a large ass (lots of squats!) and finally got these pants sized so that they fit my waist and my backside well, so if the half-hip measurement doesn't take into account my seat measurement, what does? Sorry if these are really basic questions.

Ive got cyclist arse & thighs, so i measure half hip to include the extra fabric from the rear of the trousers. AND I also provide the front hip measurement, which is just the front fabric. For me this is a slightly different measurement to the half hip.

Hope that makes sense.

Problem solved: I bought another pair of my favorite pants (Epaulet, Gable cut) and will have them tailored to match my current pair and then I'll send them to Luxire.

I'm so glad all my problems are solved by buying more clothes.

Thinking of sending below pants to replicate. Comments on how to improve fit esp in the front pocket and buttock crease area?

Does anyone have an opinion on luxire's least dense linen for very casual pants?

@luxire  I'm interested in purchasing this:

http://custom.luxire.com/collections/linen_mar_2016/products/gov-olive-canvas-54002_105

But I would would like the fabric made up as a safari (shirt jacket) as in all the photos at the link and not as pants.

Same price? different price? Can you give me a rough quote? Thanks.

Is cellulare at all "stretchy" due to its construction?

Obviously I'm looking for elastic deformation, not plastic deformation.

Would it be good for golf?

I have a couple of suit supply giro inglese shirts which I understand to be pretty much the same as cellulare. They're definitely not stretchy. The weave is open with tiny 'pores' which give it a mesh or gauze like effect, but the fabric itself isn't very deformable.

No. I was looking for something similar and though the Cellulare is comfortable I don't believe it is what you are looking for. The search continues.

Latest attempt in grey wool

Nicely done! VBC mid gray?

^^ personally I'd have the ankle openings widen just a little bit, by that's very up to personal preference. Otherwise, they appear to fit flawlessly.

How many tries to achieve this level of fit?
