Many VBC items will be stocked as have been ordered from the mill and are in production.

No plans of stocking more Minnis items in the near future. We are working on reducing wait times though.

How come you guys dont plan on stocking minnis? Should i be stocking up now, or do I still have some time left to order those.

Minnis will continue to be available for ordering.
Just that we do not stock the fabric rolls at our premises and order them from the mill as and when needed.

@Luxire after buying a white and blue example from Suitsupply, I've been trying to find some giro inglese shirts in other colours.I wondered if you may be able to help with this. The fabric is great for those of us in the tropics when linen is perhaps just a little too casual.

Thanks

Luxire has a cellulare fabric in white and navy.

Otherwise you can use their CMT service and source some Acorn Leno, Sictess Cellulare, Monti Monticel.

Has Luxire ever considered doing a traveling tailor thing that some other custom companies have done?  Would love to see them in NYC so that I can just get my fit 100% figured out in person. I had previously sent a very well fitted custom pair of dress pants to Luxire for remake.  Have now been through 4 iterations since then and still struggling to figure out the seat / other areas. Overall, the pants aren't hugely off and I love the quality, however, it has become frustrating thinking that ever next order will be the "final" one before I have my locked in fit.

This would make it so much easier than trying to figure out fit fixes via email and would likely open Luxire up to new client base that is worried about self-measuring, etc.

Im assuming you've already sent Luxire fit pics and took note of their recommendations?

Any recommendation for shirting patterns/fabrics that can be worn casual, MC style i.e. with chinos/trousers/odd jacket combos as well as jeans?

I ordered a pair of pants - for the most part I really like the fit. These pants had a 2" waistband, and for my next pair I wanted to do 1.5" or 1.75" waistband. Should I reduce the rise (front and back) proportionally (.25/.5"), or just stick with the rise that fits me pretty well? I feel like the new pair would sit on my hip at a pretty similar point than the pair with the 2" waistband.

Big +1 here. I have a few minor tweaks that are needed here and there, but especially for sportcoats. I think even a 10 minute appointment could solve a bunch of little stuff that just can't be seen in an image or explained through an email.

Any recommendations on a fabric from the Luxire range for a smart but relaxed white oxford cloth - basically OCBD shirt. Im looking for something medium-heavy weight (suitable for Australian winter) and very soft.

Ive previously had a white twill (100/2 - I think) business shirt which is soft, but I'm looking for something heavier/warmer.

After meeting a few customers in Zurich, Milan and Austria recently, have been thinking about a personal contact program but have not been able to conceptualize the same.  I plan on visiting Oslo and Stockholm in May and can meet a few customers there to understand issues and help them order.

Does a week day work better or weekend?

If it goes well, we can extend the program to other cities and I can travel with a larger team to assist with different activities.
