Luxire Custom Clothing - Official Affiliate Thread - Page 1443

I´ve posted a bunch of pictures of my third Luxire iteration over in THE TAILORS' THREAD: FIT FEEDBACK AND ALTERATION SUGGESTIONS. I´d appreciate some feedback on how to improve the fit.

The shirt fabric is Dark Indigo Denim Chambray and the pants are Wool Rich Grey.

Apple Fresco:

Apologies for the missed reply. I do not have an answer this moment but will most like be back.

Will check with the mill if they have it, in which case the restocking will be quick. Else, will get it made. If so, we will offer more colors in the fabric. Will take about 2 months.

Will add a note here if we find it with the mill.

Unfortunately, their cut doesn't work for my body otherwise I'd buy directly from them.

What kind of rain/wind protection do you offer for these jackets?

Also, somewhat related, can you make any hunting jackets (with tweed fabrics)?

 Ultimate Hoody:

We can do it but need some time.

There a lot of details in these products, each requiring special attention to details and materials.

We can take orders in one type of product and offer special pricing on it, with delivery in 3-4 months.

Hunting Jackets:

We have made a few in the past. Can certainly be done.

We made them in traditional tweed and were well received.

Have ordered some technical wool cloth from EThomas, which is similar to the Loro Piana Storm System. That is one option.

Schoeller also has some wools with their own membrane. Have not ordered those but are available.

Okay, that is fine! I will miss the season for it but that is fine. It is never that nice in NYC anyway.s :) Can you give me an idea on the pricing? Have you ever done something similar? Do you need more pictures or other details that I can try to provide? So soft.

Do you have any photos of hunting jackets you have made? Could I just give you photos to copy? And out of curiousity, do you have access to the Loro Piana Storm System fabrics? Not that I want them but I was curious. I wanted to make another jacket, similar to some of the jackets that Loro Piana uses in the storm system, and was curious what you offered with this...

I know these are far from what we typically discuss in this thread, and I suspect the vast majority of Luxire customers have little interest in  this look. However, I think it is entirely appropriate when hiking, and is far more appealing than the more common hiking style of bright primary colours and baggy cargo trousers. I am hoping you would be open to having a go at making something like this, along with slim cargo trousers in black technical fabric.

We will be able and willing to make any of these items. We need time to study the item, usage, source the right fabrics, trims before we can make them. It is just a long initial cycle/learning curve.

Beautiful! What was the brown fabric? Will you wear it with a jacket or just a shirt?

Sorry the brown pants aren't luxire ... I just took a shot of my "going to tailor pile".

I'm undecided since I don't wear a jacket everyday but I would prefer to wear them with a jacket. Sadly it will hide some of the details!

No worries. Can you link to the grey fabric? Usually I am not a fan of grey but those look casual enough.... They are pleated correct?
