I'm a bit disappointed with my twill flannel shirt, actually. It's had two or three washes so far (40 °C, 900 rpm, hang to dry), and there's already some kind of (mild) pilling all over the shirt. Maybe my other flannel shirts have this as well and it's just more visible due to the color of the shirt. Perhaps all brushed flannel shirts needs to be washed separately? Anyway, this shirt has already been "demoted" from office/everyday use to just weekends/at home. The dress code at work is casual, but this just looks too casual with the pilling.
I have three and they all got a bit of pilling and shrinkage in the wash--maybe hand washing is the only solution?
