The shoulder shirring looks great here. I had previously ordered a few shirts with shoulder shirring and found that the shirring lead to excessive fabric in the biceps and elbows, making my shoulders and arms look billowed out. I will definitely try this slight shirring for my next order and specify an elbow measurement as well.

My most recent Luxire order was just delivered - navy linen trousers. If these come out pretty good I'll definitely be placing an order for some more linen pants pretty soon, need some gray and tan for the summer. This order was pretty quick, only about 3 weeks from order date to delivery date, which was about twice as fast as my last order. I checked the tracking once it shipped, and this package seemed to travel the world before it got to me. In the span of 5 days (including the weekend), this parcel went from Bangalore to Mumbai to China to Anchorage, AK, then back to Taiwan and then Memphis, TN and finally Tampa this morning.

My understanding is that shirring works ideally for people who have bigger biceps and arms but not such a big armhole, so they need the excess fabric past the armhole. If you are requesting shirring, isn't it to be expected that there will be excess fabric there? I mean, where is the excess fabric used to create the shirring supposed to go?

Took more than two days!
Thoughts on the chambray? Hope you like both. The puppy-tooth was my favorite until my recent linen indigo gingham. Just feels better.

As promised, a better shot of the green striped shirt and the details
Looks good! I requested light shoulder shirring on a shirt but it came out so intense (didn't help that it was a thicker fabric) that I took it to the tailor and paid $35 to get it removed.

If I get more lighter fabric shirts, I might get this on one. Good job once again.

Do you have to pay extra for a shirred shoulder? Looks really nice!
No, nothing. All included in Luxire's 'specify what you want and we will make it for you' approach :)

I'm curious, which Navy Linen?

The standard Luxire navy linen for $129.99. I got the swatch and liked it, and TTO also posted a pair a long time ago that looked really good, so I decided it probably wasn't worth it to spend extra for the Dugdale version.

Sorry for the terrible pics, but I do think they show how the angle of the trouser legs is cut wrong for the way a person stands normally.

Normal stance shows the seat issues:

Wide stance, the way the legs are cut, clears up most of the issues:

I really hope they fix the cutting issue, will be ordering a couple more chinos and one or two more wool pants then.
