What fabric did you select for the tux and trimmings?

Oh my god, you need to do more of these digital mock ups. Assuming the pattern is somewhat to scale?

Take the blue OCBD. You can wear it to 99% of workplaces in america. You can wear it with "bizcaz" chinos and wool trousers. You can pair it with a jacket and tie, or just a jacket.

You can also wear it outside of work, with shorts and with the sleeves rolled up in the summer, or with denim in the winter, or more casual chinos, or anything else.

Basically, OCBDs are the only shirt that essentially fit into every hole in a wardrobe (although in some cases not perfectly). They are the jack of all trades.

Whille I mostly agree with this, I would say that a non BD collar would be a tad more versatile.

For one thing, and this may be a personal thing, I don't think BD collars look all that great with ties, especially in more formal settings. On the other hand a non-BD collar works just fine a as a casual shirt.  Perhaps the only limitation of the non-BD would be if the collar was small enough that the points kept on popping up when wearing the shirt under a sweater.

I chose Dugdale Midnight Blue Wool/Mohair Barathea with Shantung trimmings.

Is the tux the first thing you ordered from luxire, or have you ordered a few things to get the size correct?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about getting Non-Slip rubber grips for the waist of my pants to help me with my tucked shirts.

Has anyone of you ever ordered pants with those? - What are your thoughts?

Is Luxire capable of doing something like that?

Thanks in advance.

I have one Luxire suit from april 2014. The tuxedo is based on those measurments. Nevertheless, I requested a trial jacket for the tuxedo. Going to do an in-depth review asap ;)

How did you place the order? Through email? What email address?

mail@luxire.com

That being said, I would strongly recommend proceeding slowly with tailored jackets with any online maker, regardless of their skill. The difficulty is that measurements (either body or jacket measurements) do not adequately capture the complexity of a jacket fit. If at all possible, send in a jacket that fits you well and also send them properly-taken photographs of you wearing the jacket.

@luxire will you guys be restocking this fabric at some point? http://www.styleforum.net/t/304965/lightbox/post/7038610/id/1229263  I see the pale blue pencil stripes but don't like them as much as the Pale Blue Dress Stripes shirt that used to be available.
