Oh I completely agree but what I was trying to get across is that you can show your flamboyant side in a number of ways.

I like doing different button hole stitching on the less visible buttons. The last placket button, that's usually tucked in. Gauntlet buttonholes. Things that I notice, get that nice little custom feel, but aren't going to come off as ostentatious to anyone else.

Just received my latest order. Haven't tried anything on yet, but all three trouser fabrics feel really nice. Also, the jeans seem to be really nicely made... nice buttons, rivets, sewing etc. Really excited to get these home to try on.

1x Dugdale Royal Classic - Narrow Mid Grey Herringbone
1x Molloy Plain Donegal Tweed Pants - Fawn
1x Luxire Selvedge - Custom Jeans - 13Oz Raw Indigo

Hi everybody

First post, and excuse my english

1. How long does it take to make pants/shirts/polos before getting them?

2. Someone have any experience with this polo? I do not know how I should proceed to bring good measure because I have no polo to copy dimensions from, and you may not want a polo will fit as a shirt?

3. Do someone else have problem with adding items to your wishlist? When i press the "heart" nothing happens

Thanks,

Simon

for people who've had both standard cuffs and french cuff shirts -- did you have to adjust any measurements for the french cuff shirts compared to standard 1 button?

Yes, these are from the same place. We got these made in some new designs, changed the wool and weave for a softer feel and durability.

We took some new images for a closer look.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show) Then they are truy wonderful.  I highly recommend them.  If I didn't already have too many scarves, or if i lived somewhere colder, I'd get a bunch of them.  They definitely compare well to the Begg whispy cashmere ones I have.

These look great.  My next order will be a green corduory jacket, deconstructed to allow for machine washing.  Was thinking the Dugdale drab 8 wale or a Luxire corduroy (#4415), but this is tempting too.  Might just ask Ashish to decide.

Thanks!  I really love this 10-wale; chunky, but not so chunky it makes your lines all weird.  Came this close to getting a matching SC, but instead went for the grey Donegal M43 field coat.  Coming soon...

I believe you were interested to know how my adventure with the "trouser legs rotating inwards"-issue developed, @emptym. If it wasn't you, please accept my apology. Maybe someone else will find it useful to learn that the issue derives from fit issues in the back. The problem for me was the fact that the trousers rode up between the butt cheeks. Luxire advised me to increase the back rise at the crotch primarly to address the rotating legs. It's much better now, but still not optimal. I thing I'll have to increase the back rise at the crotch further to fully get rid of the rotating legs and to address my fit issues at the back. But this definitely helped.

Very good.  Do you think that corduroy would work well as an unlined sport coat?  Do you remember the weight?  I may just go fully lined.  Am wondering if the corduroy would have too much friction otherwise.  Edit:  I see on their site that the 10 wale is about 11 oz and there's an 8 wale at about 16 oz.  I think I may go w/ that latter for a sport coat.  But either way, your pic has me sold on the dark olive.

Probably was me.  I had that wedgie issue on pants.  This thread helped w/ the fix.  One nice thing is that it's caused by extra fabric, and an alterations tailor could fix it easily.  But it certainly is best to have the pattern fixed.

Thanks for the link. It's an annoying issue, as it disrupts the drape of the trousers. I've sent pictures of the latest trousers I received to Luxire and am awaing further alteration suggestions. Until now, we've primarly scooped out the seat, increased the back rise at the crotch and decreased the inseam at the crotch. I'm not sure what we should focus on the most though. Here are a couple of pics FWIW

1. I've had 1 to 3 weeks turnaround times for shirts and trousers. Some people ordering shirts seem to have had even faster times.
2. I've not had that one but I have bought the charcoal jersey and would suggest measuring from a polo you own that fits well.

I took a short sleeved polo that fitted okay, pinned it how I wanted it to fit, then took the measurements. To make a long sleeve I borrowed sleeve measurements from a shirt. It turned out pretty well. I think there is room for a bit of guesswork with polos due to the fabric.

3. That feature seems to be faulty for everyone? A website redesign has supposedly been planned for a while.

Any update on the Minnis Brown flanell 0307? I placed an order but we need 15...

Once I am happy with my fit I would like to order the Minnis Brown flannel...just too expensive for pants that fit "ok'ish".

Second iteration of pants in the making now.
