I noticed that Luxire's ginghams are always made the wrong way round. The darker strips run horizontal as opposed to vertical. Do the customers realize this or is it a special request?
Exactly right, and this theory also explains much of the underarm bunching / excess fabric found on shirts.

Hmm, they run vertical on my small blue gingham. Never thought about it before you mentioned it, though, tbh.

Are these goodyear welted, blake stitched or hand welted?Shoes are still in trial. The last couple of pairs made are nearing the level of satisfaction that would give us comfort to ship them. We are close.
Yeah, its kind of a mixed bag. I was looking to have a gingham shirt done up recently so I've noticed some inconsistency with their product shots.
Just something to look out for if you cared. Maybe specify it in the details for your next order if you want to be sure of what you're getting.

The gingham looks awesome! Would you mind to share it's order # for the collar. Maybe it has been mentioned here before, but it's one of the nicest BDs seen for a long time.
Agree completely and am holding off ordering more trousers until a solution is found. As more trousers I observe here, as more I am sure: Luxire has a problem with excess cloth in the crotch. Under some circumstances, maybe 20% of the pant's dont' have it. But in general I guess 80% here suffer from it. My last two pants do have it as well, while the trousers before didn't have it, though the trousers in the very beginning had it... I didn't change measurements and the pants look very different especially around the crotch. Imho it's a question of cut pattern, lining and differences in cloth (strength, stiffness). I just wanna point this issue to enable improvement here.
