Nope, I have only tried the mid-grey VBC.

Thanks. The second one you linked to in the VBC greys looks good for my needs. Worth the extra $40 over the wool rich? Probably. I would like the option of washing them at home ideally. Would the VBC take well to a 30deg cool wash dya think?

Washing wool pants at home without them looking like crap afterwards is only something the wool rich will give you, at least without a lot of hassle; I would not recommend doing it to the VBCs.

The Brown Twill is 250 gms / 8 Oz.

Can check and see if there are any brown flannel options available.

We also received the Delfino books today, which have some really good fabric choices as well.

Thank you for the quick response. Please do check if you have any brown VBC flannel, preferably 270g available as I would be very interested in it. I'm planning on placing an order tomorrow. Which reminds me, will the 20 % code for orders > $500 be valid tomorrow, Friday? I asked you to extend it if possible until tomorrow a couple of days ago. Thanks.

I ended up ordering the wool rich grey with a few tweaks to my fit. With a MTM order in the system the world feels right again biggrin.gif

This is good to know considering I was torn between the mid grey flannel and the Dugdale Charcoal Grey Tweed for about two weeks. I ended up choosing the Dugdale yesterday for similar reasons stated above. I want to hopefully be able to wear them at least through March considering they wont arrive until late dec/early jan.

I have not yet tried the dugdale tweed, but I have their light grey twill flannel and I am very happy with it. Despite being a heavier weight (14oz instead of 12oz i believe), they are much lighter wearing due to being a dense flannel rather than the spongy and thick texture of the mid grey flannel.

Has anyone tried the 20 wale cords? Wondering if the brown is suitable for semi-formal wear due to the wale count.

I've got an order in for the chocolate brown 20 wale, but that will be the first I've seen of them.

How to order? Just order the 3 or 4 shirts as usual. We will refund the difference.

Hot dang. Sat on the fence 'til now, but those flannels look great so I'm in for four. Order placed.

Is there an idiot's guide to Luxire ordering out there? After trying on about 20 pairs of jeans and trousers in the past week and not finding one pair I absolutely loved, I am probably just going to start ordering MTM. It's just a little intimidating trying to figure out all the options and (especially) how to dial in the right fit.
