Recently somewhere in Italy. NSFW for Americans.

Luxire quilted jacket

Navy Chambray by Brembana

New Copper Chino

My entire casual wardrobe is made in India these days. I love it.

Seeing this fabric reminded me of my need for a black watch tartan shirt. Anybody else interested in peer pressuring Luxire to source something like this:

Id be down. The one with the red overcheck they have on the site looks awesome but I'm concerned about weight and quality. I accidentally put two in the drier and the shrinkage is pretty significant.

+1 I'd love a black watch tartan pattern.

But come on, it's in the post from Luxire from Saturday.

Thank you for the link, and my apologies for not staying on top of this thread.

@clapeyron  I really enjoy your Luxire quilted jacket! You sent in specific jacket measurements or gave them blank card to adjust measurements based on your shirts?

PS.: I'd be entirely down for a nice black watch tartan like the one you included in your post, both in summer cotton and winter flannel! But a true, dark black watch, without any added overcheck (wouldn't be a true black watch otherwise)!

Luxire replicated an ill fitting existing jacket I sent in and lengthened sleeves, front and reset the buttoning points. The original jacket, much like many of the clothes in my wardrobe replaced by Luxire items, is now likely being worn by some tall Syrian refugees in preparation of our German winter.

I absolutely agree on the fabric's need to be a true dark black watch tartan without an overcheck. I'd also prefer it if it was in a scale similar to buffalo plaid shirts.

Any suggestions for a pair of textured wool pants? I would prefer to keep sub-$200.

I was looking at:

http://luxire.com/collections/pants/products/mid-grey-wool-flannel-100-wool

http://luxire.com/collections/pants/products/navy-wool-melton

http://luxire.com/collections/pants/products/dugdale-plain-charcoal-grey-tweed-dugdale_wf_13

Also, thoughts on half vs full lining?

I have the mid grey flannel. It has great weight to it, but it is extremely warm and probably only truly wearable if you spend a decent amount of time walking outdoors, and if you are in a colder climate. I'm in Canada, and I haven't been able to wear it yet and will likely only have a few chances throughout the winter. If you have good air conditioning at your office, then these could work, but I have found them a bit warm when indoors. If you do get them, I would say half lined is the way to go, it'll stop any itchiness on the thighs without being as warm as the fully lined option.

I have cargo pants made of Dugdale Charcoal Grey Tweed. Fabric is very warm, but feels very soft and comfortable. Not for office use.

Out of stock fabrics cannot be ordered. If a fabric is out-of-stock on the website and customer service says it is available, we will change the status of the item from Out-of-stock to available for it to be ordered.

Thank you, understood.
