@luxire sorry to ask again on here but I've been trying to place an order today using your AUTUMN2015 code and it is not working. Can you help?

PSA: I emailed Luxire asking about wool rich options in charcoal and they responded with four options (accompanied by pictures). So I get the impression they have wayyyy more wool rich colors than we realize. If you love these pants and want some more colors, you might want to email them and ask. Don't have much time to post the others but below is the charcoal swatch I'll be ordering in the near future:

Not exactly seasonally appropriate, but can anyone speak to the durability of Dugdale's Mersolair and/or Cape Breeze? Can they handle wear as pants?

Thanks for the tips Jimmy. Does anyone have any other recommendations/ tips? Thanks!

I recently ordered my first pair of pants using a mix of measurements from other well fitting pants, and I'm assuming there are a bunch of fixes/changes that could be done to improve the fit. For what it's worth, I have an athletic build with large thighs, but have a small shoe size (8.0-8.5) so it has been difficult to find pants with enough room in the thighs that have a decent taper down to the ankle with very little/ no break, which is the look I was going for here.

Any feedback or recommended adjustments on how to improve the fit, it would be greatly appreciated. I've attached a few pictures as well. Thanks!

1. Loose fabric below the buttock can be fixed by asking them to slightly scoop out the seat.
2. The looks like you have a slight wedgie; fix by adding a little to the back rise at the crotch and maybe lowering the inseam a little
3. Also, there seems to be some pulling from your calves that is messing with the front crease.  I'm not sure how this could be fixed.  I know you want a narrow leg opening.  Maybe increasing the knee and or thigh slightly?

I'm not confident enough to give you amounts, but if you send these picture to Luxire, they will certainly give you some very helpful input. The tweaks that they have provided me with have been great.  For the first time ever, I am wearing well-fitting pants that don't pinch, pull or bunch somewhere or another.  It is quite an amazing feeling.

What other colors did they have?

I only asked for charcoal and they sent me four different shades of grey. That's what led me to believe they have way more colors than we're aware of.

Can you post the 4 they sent? I think I speak for us all, that we would love to see them.

Based on one of my jackets, Luxire is capable of a fairly natural shoulder, but I agree--their 'house' style seems to be a more roped shoulder. Just sent Luxire an email about my latest jacket, which has a more structured/roped shoulder than I'd requested. I am hoping that they can correct it.

I just got a pair of the coffee brown cotton tweed.  It is not as heavy as a corduroy or flannel, but it has a little bit of a heavy feel, a nice hand, and it doesn't wrinkle much.  I'm very happy with them.  Perhaps not a full winter fabric, but very nice for the fall.

What is wool rich and what is the fascination with it?

Despite being  a wool blend (30% polyester), it drapes well, doesn't wrinkle much, you can wash it at home and looks good.
