*edit - Also I noticed no one seemed to comment on the lack of lining, so even despite potential differences in measurements it's fairly evident these pants were not constructed to spec.

Who did you contact specifically? Have you sent any follow up emails? Their inbox is probably backlogged.

Based on my experiences, I wouldn't be so quick to assume @novaeagle did anything wrong. The first pants I ordered were inches wider than requested in the waist and thighs, and to their credit Luxire corrected the issue after a couple of emails back and forth. My trial shirt order was ridiculously detailed, and Luxire absolutely nailed every detail in the body and collar, but somehow made the biceps and forearms tiny. For my follow up shirt I quoted my trial shirt order and requested that .75" be added to the half width of the entire sleeve, from the bicep through the forearm, but there was no appreciable difference in the result. I didn't complain about that one, because I really hated the fabric I chose (my fault - order swatches if you aren't sure), but it soured me on ordering based on measurements. I think sending in garments for replication may be the only way to go, and will try this in the near future. The idea of having your own patterns on file with unlimited options for customization at these kind of prices is too awesome to not try.

I contacted luxire directly, although I have had experience with Ashish before. I understand their inbox is probably backlogged, and that these things take time. I hope no one is taking this as combative - that is surely not the case. I have full confidence luxire will be able to work with me to rectify the issue one way or the other. I was merely wondering if others had similar experiences.

Mine were based off a pair of well-fitting pants one iteration ago. I requested certain adjustments (more room in the thigh, less room in the knee, a few other minor things). Most were performed admirably, but the difference is knee and waist measurements was noticeable. I specified a smaller knee yet it seemed to get larger, and did not specify a waist change but it got larger.

The knee is fine - it is more of a personal preference than an actual issue. Most would probably prefer it closer to 10" than 9", anyways. The waist, similarly, I can have taken in, so it is not as much of an issue. The real concern is in the lack of lining - that is a detail that shouldn't be hard to get right. Furthermore, if I order another pair of pants, which measurements do I use? Do I assume this pair was made incorrectly, and continue with the old measurements, or do I assume I measured incorrectly despite the first iteration of pants, and  base new measurements off this pair? That is my real issue in the matter.

sorry to hear about your trousers! I trust that Luxire will make things right. I agree that their email seems to be backlogged--have sent them two emails over the past week with no response yet.

I wish I knew about these instructional measurement videos before placing my first order. That website would benefit greatly from a complete overhaul. I'm surprised they haven't yet, considering they are located in the Mecca of IT support.

It's an on-going saga. I think they've been six months away from having a new site for two years.

I agree the website can be frustrating but they've stated numerous times they're working on it (I think we're supposed to see an upgrade in the next few months maybe?). Silver lining: I'd probably be $2,000 poorer if I could search fabrics more efficiently :D

Speaking of the website, does anyone's wish list actually work? I added some fabrics to mine a few months ago and went back to check and I get an error when I click on my wish list. I haven't been able to add anything new to it either.

Yep, same problem - I spend half an hour compiling a wish list and when I click on the list I get the same error message.

I learned quickly to save my wish list and URL links offline.

Good thing I only had one or two fabrics on mine. I haven't bought anything new in a while, and I just looked at the website for the first time in a few months.

Another vote for the wool rich pants from me, whoever was asking. I wore the navy today actually and I was again noticeably pleased how decent they are. I'm ordering the grey next time too.

Shouldn't be an issue.  My guess is Luxire will have you mail the pants back so they can correct the lining issue and measure the pants.  Either way, you'll know precisely what you have for purposes of requesting adjustments on the next pair.

That would be me:) thanks! With so many strong proponents I feel I can't go wrong with this fabric. Will post back as soon as they arrive!
