You can also ask for Ban-Rol inside the waistband.

Would it be possible to confirm that this is an unfused interlining and that it is different to/independent of the rubber grippers?

This is what the DHL helpline told me. And it worked three times. Obviously, if you are uncomfortable leaving the package open, the DHL helpline is usually helpful

Thanks for the response. I went ahead and did this, but my mailroom kept some of the copies of the documents and put the shipping label, two of the archive docs, and made an extra copy of the proforma invoice to add to the package. Not a real issue with them keeping the copies since I still have the PDF.

I ordered my first pair of wool trousers approximately 4 weeks ago now, and last week received an email saying that they no longer had the fabric in stock and asked me to choose another one.  I replied back with a different fabric (at the same price) and haven't heard a response.  Tried again a few days later asking if it was received, still nothing.  Any suggestions as to what I should do?

They probably got the response and are making with the alternate fabric but haven't got back to mailing you yet.

Otherwise, just have patience (which I can say with a straight face, I have 5 items on order). It's just part of the Luxire experience....

I'm confused on all the waistband options that have been presented. Standard, rubber, rubber grippers, and ban-rol inside waistband. Can anyone elaborate or provide info on these?

I believe that the following waistband interlining choices are correct (@luxire please correct me if I'm wrong):

  • Default - soft unfused interlining
  • Ban-Rol - thicker/stiffer unfused interlining
  • Fused - a light fusing to the main cloth provides the structure
  • Rubber Grippers - these are not part of the interlining, they are part of the banding. They replace part of the skirted banding, with the rubber helping to stop the shirt from falling out. The grippers have a touch to of stiffness, so it also helps the waist band rolling issue.

Ah, so it seems requesting ban-rol would be a good idea, then, and maybe rubber grippers on pants that will have shirts tucked into them?

Correct. This is probably what I'll do on my next order.

Our rubber grippers also come with Ban-Rol

Now, we also have a separate Banrol interlining that is independent of the rubber grippers.
