Anyone have experience with this fabric? VBC 110 Chocolate Brown Wool.

I also just placed an order for the Chocolate Duck Canvas Chinos. Did it based on measurements from existing chinos. I will send in a pair of wool pants for the dress pants though.

For my last OCBD I requested a Mercer and Sons style collar. The result was very nice, but I think the collar is slightly too large for me, and I would like it to be slightly more lined or fused- but I'm not sure about the difference between lining and fusing, and therefore not sure how to request a modified collar. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

For chinos and maybe tweed trousers, would jeans or dress pant measurements be more appropriate?

As others have mentioned, I used jeans measurements for dress pants and the results were disastrous...

Here's the third round of trial pants/shirt. I'm pretty happy with the pants fit, my only thoughts now are on how the fabric is wrinkling which could be due to the fabric as well. For the shirt, it fits much better than my last shirt and I can actually wear it and feel comfortable in it. However, I'm still getting an issue with lines going from the center of my chest to my shoulders and to the sides of my waist.

I'd love to hear any feedback on the pants and/or the shirt.

I agree that some of the wrinkling on the pants could be due to the material, as I found that the material wrinkled a lot as well. However, I do think that the wrinkling in the seat could be adjusted through altering your pattern. I had a similar issue and from what I remember fixing it involved slightly increasing the rise and widening the thigh slightly so it draped better. I would just send these pictures via an email to luxire and ask for their recommendations on how to fix it as they will know best. A side on shot would probably help them as well. Personally I think the taper towards the ankle is a bit aggressive if you are looking to have dress trousers made, as such a thin ankle section will likely look a bit strange in a flannel or something similar.

Do you find that the shirt is hard to tuck in and have it remain tucked? It looks a little short in the pictures, but again it's hard to tell.

What do you tell Luxire if you want them to add those "keepers" on the inside of the leg opening to prevent the trousers from flapping around by adding some weight to the cuffs?

That was also my first shirt.

It's fantastic (silky, not transparent, slightly wrinkle but not so much).

I reorder an other shirt with this fabric.
