NOBDII does seem quite popular. It's also used with a tie frequently, right? The hidden buttons sound like a great idea. I'm also interested in a pic and, if you don't mind, the order number so I can steal it.

I figured others may have their own preference. I find that copying measurements rarely works for me since I am on the shorter side and have a slightly short and wide neck. I may take your starting measurements and slightly modify them on a future order. If I try the NOBDII collar I'll likely have to reduce the height as well.

Hey guys, anyone else buy the cotton pants with a .5" smaller waist size? I've noticed the pair I have seems to stretch at least that much, and they don't look as good once stretched (bc they don't stay on the right spot on my waist unless I cinch with a belt). Didn't know if this was commonly done, or how anyone else typically accounted for it

Cotton tends to stretch throughout the day, especially at places like the waist.  I guess ordering something that is 0.5" smaller than you usually wear could be a fix.  If I were to try that I'd probably go for 0.25" since the measurement that you give to luxire is the 1/2 waist, so you'd really be subtracting a whole inch.

The problem that I see with this is that the waist will be tight on you until it stretches and that might just be trading one problem for another.  Maybe a better alternative would be to try trousers with side adjusters since you could tighten/loosen them as needed.

I have not noticed this problem myself. Perhaps you could request a waistband interlining that does not stretch?

Do somebody have experience with ordering cuffed trousers from Luxire with slanted leg openings? I'm happy with my Luxire trousers after some experiment but would like to ask for slanted leg openings. I know slanted leg openings are a more difficult task when the trousers feature cuffs. Ideally I'd like the difference between back and front to be 0,25-0,5".

Search the thread for "military hem", and you'll find some examples.

To Luxire (or anyone else for that matter):

Har anyone tried to copy the button down collar of the Italian maker Fray? They look like the ultimate button down collar for me, who has got a slightly longer neck than what is normal.

Another really interesting collar for me is the "regular" collar from the obscure korean shirt maker Spalla:

Don,

I get slant hems on all pants, not a big deal at all. Luxire can do up to a 1" difference.

Have ordered some trousers in one of the intriguing Campore tweeds. Will of course provide a report upon receipt.
