No, it's their standard collar. The roll is very good. The collar points are not as elongated as on the Barba BD. It's more of a traditional J. Press/BB collar but better than what those companies currently make.

We made a leather jacket. Full grain calf leather, vegetable tanned, custom processed for Luxire.

Looking good. How much (approximately) will the leather jackets cost?

And will you do leather jackets in black? I really love some of the designs Temple of Jawnz do (or used to do...).

Just curious, maybe I am missing something, were would one go to find the measurements from a previous order? I ordered a chambray shirt, and I would like to order another and I cannot find my original measurements. Does Luxire keep a record of them?

Thanks,

David-

Anyone have images of their chambray goods from Luxire? Or does anyone have a suggestion as to their best chambray?

Essentially I am looking for a workwear style chambray shirt: double pockets, contrast stitching, throat latch ect. I have the Slubby Chambray already, wondering if any one has experience with their other options, likes and dislikes.

Thanks!

If you want a ToJ, get a ToJ. They're still taking orders, and I doubt Luxire will be able to source leather that's as high in quality as what ToJ have available.

Oh, I didn't know that they are still taking orders, thought the owner/designer would stop making leather jackets and start his own restaurant or something, thanks.

I worded that wrong, and in an antagonistic manner for which I apologise.

I'm sure you can get leather of that quality, but the whole deal with ToJ was the sheer quality of the garment you were getting for the price, alongside the carefully curated designs that Drew made available.

I agree with you. The craftsmanship, attention-to-detail and the basic sense of styling will be much superior in them as compared to us, while we build the skills. Overtime though, the difference would diminish.
That has been our focus for everything we make.

Leather would be a key area of attention for us this year and we expect to offer a wide variety over time, in terms of material used, styling offered and range of items.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

One thing ToJ never offered was shearling jackets, I would definitely be interested in seeing if that's something you could source.

As a sidenote unrelated to talk about leather jackets, I'd like to get some trousers made with zips on the ankle, is that something you offer and do you have a variety of zips available from which I might be able to choose from?

We can make shearling for you. Do send an email to [email protected] with requirement details to discuss further.

Pants can be made as desired. We get zippers custom made from YKK for any particular application, sometimes at a nominal additional charge, so, there is no limitation. You can let us know what you need.
