Ouch!  You might not be seeing that order for awhile. Good luck.

I've been waiting to get it back so I can order 5+ shirts from Luxire. It has my favorite shirt that I sent in for them to duplicate, too.

I don't really have many other shirts. I may have to visit Nordstroms.

Luxire, fix this please! I sent you an email early this morning, two actually. No response.

Obviously I don't know what happened, but it may not be Luxire who made the mistake as the shipping company wouldn't (or at least shouldn't) have picked the package up without proper paperwork.  Did the notice give you a number to call?

On another note, I finally got my shirt delivered.  The material is wonderful and the quality is tops.  In future I'll add another .25" onto the sleeve but that's about it.  Also, I'll keep a screenshot of my order as I'm pretty sure I requested no pocket and a semi-spread collar, while the shirt I received had a chest pocket and a spread collar.  Not a major problem, and it could have been my fault when I ordered; however, it would be nice if I could have looked it up on the site.  Instead, once it's been placed, there's no way of confirming what's gone into the system.  Still, for the price, I'll accept the odd problem.  The shirt really is fantastic.  Worth the delays and the possible mix-ups.

Don't you still have the email they send to confirm the order? My confirmations have all the details of the order, including things like chest pocket preference, collar, etc.

Nice! Good for you. I called FedEx and they said the invoice was wrong and Luxire had to redo it.

I couldn't find the email.  I probably deleted it as I often do.  Regardless, it's a beautifully made shirt and I can handle the pocket so I'm good.  Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Your packet should be cleared today and be delivered on Monday :)

The documentation is standardized and same on all packets.

I specified 3 7/16" collar points, unfused, and unlined collar and cuffs.  Mercer and Sons actually mention these explicitly on their site.  I also specified a higher collar height and collar band height than normal because of my long neck.  I expect this will also help with the collar roll.

Am looking forward to how your collar turns out.

As mentioned before my next shirt will too come with unfused and unlined collars, I did not specify the point length though.
What I am a bit surprised of, is your approach to go with unlined cuffs.
I think even on Mercer & Sons and old BB shirts cuffs are unfused but still lined. I could be wrong.

@Luxire, I stumbled across this shirt of Van Laack and thought all three fabrics look stunning, fantastic texture, color and perfect balance of stripes and background..
Any chance to see something similiar in your offerings any time soon?

Mind giving us the Order number so we can copy the collar or Luxire love it to be standardized as the 'Mercer' collar as I think it will be hugely popular. Including the unfused and unlined in the standardization also.

Thanks in advance; I see you say yes to everything Luxire ;)

Had another look at a vintage Mercer & Sons shirt I talked about with Theresa earlier.
Could indeed be unlined cuffs as well.

+1

Standardizing Mercer collar would be nice.

Re the shirt fit I got excellent help from Theresa at Luxire in terms of adjusting on the basis of the pictures I posted on the last page.

So I will make some more adjustments, then order a new shirt. If I have discipline I will only order one shirt and wait until it gets here and I see the results of the fit.

I would say that the collar roll on the Mercer shirts looks nice, but anyone with a picture of the shirt on an actual person with the top button unbuttoned so that we can compare with other shirts?

Thebunny: Luxire can do anything. (as long as it's connected to making shirts/trousers in some way)
