I would not recommend this for a "one-shirt". As I suggest in my review on their site, I find this fabric a fraction too dark to be truly as versatile as Simplicio is looking for, plus the weave is somewhat lacking in interest (sure, it's a poplin, so you'd expect that, but I think for a really versatile shirt, some interest in the weave helps. Also, while the fabric is OK, it is very standard in feel, and if you were planning on wearing the same fabric most days, you'd probably want something a bit finer. Next order, I'm going to try: http://custom.luxire.com/collections/dress-shirts/products/pale-blue-poplin-140-2 as it looks to be a little finer, and a little paler. Still probably not an everyday shirt as you'd probably want some more surface interest for that, but I think it could be pretty versatile.

But what about the end-on-end he posted; wouldn't it satisfy the needs for light blue as well as some surface interest?

This is true, but the buttons just seem redundant.
I definitely prefer other collars to wear with ties. Without ties, I am a BD guy.

I'm exactly the opposite. I prefer to see a BD with a tie and I probably prefer a spread collar when tieless. I also prefer to wear a spread collar when wearing ties but that's besides the point.

You need the buttons for the roll. You don't need the roll (and sometimes it's definitely wrong) but this is its own reward--

In case you guys did not notice, also sporting our new Grey Plaid Fleece Tie, made using Minnis Flannel 0339
Wow.... this is fantastic. The coat AND tie. I don't think I can rightfully sport a DB jacket, but that is quite pleasing to the eye and a fantastic idea.

It also looks like you just keep getting better and better with each product release.

I'll post some fit pics when I receive the jacket. Maybe it'll convince you to sport a DB jacket regardless of rightfulness. Anyway, I think this jacket could just as easily be made in a single breasted configuration, with or without the lining, depending on temperature needs.

The coat looks awesome, what's the price point?

Edit:
And anyone with recommendations wrt to Chinos, preferred colors khaki/beige. I got the Copper Chino and Ecru Twill Chino and look to add another 2-3.
I was eye balling some of the Khaki Twill Chinos, as well as the Dark Copper Chino. Anyone opinions on them?

Also, I am looking for recommendations for shirts, gonna get a white OCBD and some more blue shirts as well as the Red striped Oxford.

Unfortunately, a lot of new shirt fabrics have been added and I haven't been able to get some more swatches.

Update on my collar issues - all I need to do is ship the 6 shirts back to their NJ office and they will remake and replace all the collars for me. I received the full order very quickly, hopefully the remakes don't take too long. I'm still not sure what happened with this order - whoever made the shirts must have used the incorrect collar measurements and just copied that over to each shirt in the order.

Remember that debate a couple months back about whether to just reference an old number or reiterate the measurements as well? Yeah, that's why....

yeah.. I do the same too. It's one less step where a mistake could happen in looking up the wrong order number.

Yeah I may need to start including the full measurements again in future orders. Although the other problem with that is I've changed my measurements in small increments throughout 3 orders until I got my fit dialed in. And every time I would reference an old order # and make changes like "reduce xxx by 1/2 inch," etc. so I'd have to go back and incorporate all the additions/subtractions to figure out the exact measurements they should have on file for me. Or I could just re-measure my last shirt and include those measurements along with the order #.

You have no idea how the mistake happened. All the measurements could have been correctly communicated for all we know but when measuring, the tailor mis-read the tape.

I had numerous orders and referenced old orders a bunch of times and all have been fine
