Are there plans to add more plaids and flannels in the coming months? I just got the Navy/black $59 flannel and absolutely love it. I know there are a few up on there now, but most of the patterns aren't that great looking.

Also wondering about flannels... I want to try a flannel popover.

I am pondering my first trouser order. Looking for something light and casual...but not too casual.

Can anyone help me understand the difference between:

- navy twill chino ($89.99)
- navy soft chino ($99.99)
- navy soft cotton chino ($119.99)
- Brisbane Moss navy canvass ($129.99)
- Dugdale cotton navy plain ($149.99)
- Brisbane Moss navy blue twill ($149.99)

This would be my first order. Looking for a fit/drape that's slimming but not too slim as I am heavyset up top.

Appreciate some guidance..

They used to have more and they seem to have not replaced them after they sold out. I got the Blue Black Shadow check (which is really nice) and it doesn't seem to be available anymore. I tried to get the Blue White Orange Grey Plaid and it sold it before I could order.

I'd love to see more. Or restocks on some of those.

Just received my first order, a BD in http://custom.luxire.com/products/navy-shepherd-check-on-grey . Fits very well, quite pleased with it, and already picking out stuff for my next order. Quick question before I put the order through, can I expect the shirt to shrink a bit after washing? If so, how many washes will it take to get to its stable size? Currently it is a smidge too large about the shoulders and cuffs, and I was wondering if I should adjust for the next order.

Thanks!

From Luxire's FAQ:

7. Will my garment shrink upon washing?
It is natural for all Cotton fabrics to shrink on washing, but that should not worry you. We machine wash and air dry each fabric before making it into your garment. We shrink test our fabrics before stitching them. The percentage of shrinkage is taken into consideration before the pattern is cut for making the garment. Still, there can be minor shrinkage of less than 1% in some fabrics over a few washes.

This isn't always accurate. Some of the fabrics I've gotten have shrunk a bit, but it's considerably less than other brands. Give it one or two washes and see where you're at.

Just received my first shirt from Luxire, quality seems good but obviously the fit is off. I'm unsure what fabric it is, I just ordered the "fit test" shirt and this is what I was given. Collar style is a hidden button down based on order #6300.

I'm just hoping someone out there has some pointers to improve the fit? The length is definitely too short (my fault) and the collar is too tight for me to button. Aside from these, do you know how I could reduce the pulling around the armpits?

Any feedback is appreciated!

A few thoughts from a non-expert:

1. cuffs are sitting too low and sleeves too long. Make sure you've washed the shirt a couple of times first, though, in case of some fabric shrinkage. Shorten the sleeves and tighten the cuffs so that the sleeves end at the base of your thumb.

2. yoke may be a touch wide

3. need to correct for sloping shoulders, which are causing some of the lines between neck to armpit. Possible that this is also causing some of the diagonal lines in the front of the shirt but I'm not sure. Does it improve if you deliberately make your shoulders more square?

4. Are you going to wear this shirt tucked or untucked? If untucked, you will need to increase the diameter of the shirt at the hips so you don't get that deep horizontal fold across the bottom of the back. If tucked, then take new pictures with the shirt tucked so that you can better assess the fit at the waist.
