Heavy wools are here: 400-600 gms weight. Some are 100% wool while some are 85% wool, 15% nylon

Available tomorrow.

You can order pants, pants with cotton-flannel lining, over-coats, vintage coats with back-belts and other things limited by your imagination.

Are these the wool trousers I have been waiting for?

How much would it cost for the pure wool fabric made up as dress pants?

I don't understand fabric weights, can you give me a comparison as to what these fabrics would be on a Super 00's scale?

thanks.

Pure wool, wool-cashmere and wool-nylon  - All priced at $99.99 currently.

Am not sure if there is a straight conversion between the S number and weight, but these are nice and heavy. Not recommended for summer.

I will certainly try out your 100% wool trouser fabric, too bad all other wool cloths have nasty nylon. Will you add more pure wool options soon?

Yes, they would be added in due course. Things are flowing in gradually.

Sourcing of fabrics is a complicated process. Our quality and testing processes discourage many potential suppliers.  Establishing sustainable relations takes time. We are still trying to find traction.

As much as I'm against synthetics in clothing, some nylon in flannel pants usually increases the durability of the fabric significantly!

I have a pair of flannels with a bit of synthetic added, and it doesn't seem to affect their breathability or appearance. Not ideal, but far from a crime against nature. smile.gif

How much are the overcoats in the new fabrics?

Seconded, my experience has been that a little nylon content offers just a bit of stretch that aids in shape retention and thus longevity. Seems to help with flannels. Other wools do fine without it.

For now, unstructured would be $200 while structured would be $250. Some of the heavy wool we have would not require much of a reinforcement though.

Luxire,

I have a suggestion for your website that might help with the custom notes ordering process.  I was thinking that it might be good to have a set of options and their respective definitions and maybe some jpegs for example in a table format that could be copied and pasted into the individual orders. That would allow for some standardization but not require any kind of fancy changes to your website. For example(s):

Options table
Cocktail Cuffs James Bond Style cuffs. See Image
Cuff Contrast Lining Lining on inside of cuff using different shirt fabric
Collar Contrast Lining

Lining on inside of collar using different shirt fabric

We do agree. The website has been less than satisfying for us too and it has been a problem we have been unable to solve so far.

Might do-away with the shirt selection options the way they are and make them like the pant selection options. It will give us a lot more flexibility.
