Wait a second, there's a store in New Jersey?  In Edison??  Is this just like a headquarters office with most of the actual work done overseas or could one walk in, get measured, and have shirts made in-house at the NJ location?

 

I ask because I'm originally from there and next time I'm on leave in the states I could swing by.  

 

Can you post the location?

With MTM shirts I should be able to find the perfect length so the shirt will look great both tucked and un tucked, or can't I have both? Since I am young and don't use suits very often, having the option to use the same shirt tucked or untucked would be very practical.

Just tuck in your shirt all the time. It looks better 100% of the time, anyhow (obviously not if it's a polo or tshirt).

Our main office is in Edison, NJ, we also warehouse our ready-to-wear shirts there along with some accessories.  All the tailoring is done in our own facilities in India.

 

The NJ facility is not currently designed for visiting customers though. We are planning on adding a visitor lounge and adding staff to enable measurements, browsing swatches and ordering.

We are talking to a few companies for having a kinect powered automatic measuring system installed as well.  will take a few months though.

Will you be developing an XBox app for self-measurement? That would certainly be a differentiator.

Generally my work shirts which I wear tucked in have formal features - no placket, no pocket, slightly wide spread collar. My casual shirts which I wear untucked have a placket, pocket and button-down collar. So basically - you shouldn't be wearing your formal shirts casually.
