Ashish: do you have a shirt made already with the vintage grullo herringbone fabric (and the soft gray herringbone if possible)? The fabric looks beautiful.

Hi W,
No, currently we do not have any photograph of shirts made with those fabrics.

I thought Luxire had a fit guarantee on all their garments, why don't you return it to have it fixed?

The cost of shipping often succeed the cost of using a tailor for such a simple task as slimming a shirt.

They made one for me in the soft grey herringbone - it's one of my favourites now. I'll try and take a picture for you when I get back home.

Any more word on the quilted jacket?

The goose-down has been ordered. Working on the Gore-tex fabrics, with the holidays slowing responses from the suppliers. We should have that nailed by next week.

Nice, was about to just do something rash and go with the Enrico Mandelli, but now I will wait!

To add to the quilted jacket discussion, I am a big fan of the Norse Projects x Lavenham stuff. More of a utilitarian look. I don't like the dressed up quilted jacket look myself.

Also, not to make your job even more difficult, but you may want to consider doing the wool bonded Gore Tex stuff that Nanamica and other companies use. Gives a more naturalistic look without compromising.

The key is to get the right ingredients. Small stuff like fasteners, threads to getting the right fabrics, linings are all equally important and sourcing them can sometimes take time.

Like we finally got the most wonderful linen for shirts and pants last week. Working on making them available today. These are limited quantity stock made from French flax and are available in some nice colors and patterns.
