Thanks for the update AnGeLiCbOrIs.

Question: Did the EU/US ratio change, or am I wrong?I notice that the EU9 is US10.5.

Since I am between a 10 and 10.5, I was going to go with eu9/us10, but balked with that eu/us ratio change, to eu8.5/10, does that have any effect on the size?

Thanks in advance.

The monks run larger than the other shoes. I wear a 10.5 D US in almost every last and I wear a size 9 EU in the double monk.

I suggest the 8/9.5 US.

I just added pre-order pages for the black and brown oxfords to the website.

Brown derby pre-orders will be available on Sunday.

All styles will be available in US sizes 7.5 and up.

Hi Andrew,

Do the derbies fit the same as the oxfords?

Lots of people can wear both but the derbies are slightly narrower in the forefoot and will work better for someone with a low instep.

My handgrade Gryffin whole cuts from AL recently arrived. I have to say that they look great and fit true to size.

Those Gryffin's are pretty impressive. I pre-ordered my benchgrade black oxfords based on Put This On's favorable reviews and reading this thread.

The MTM photos have been stellar - really want a new suit now too.

Here is some info for anyone interested in the MTM program:

I currently sell suits and sportcoats in the NY/NJ area (and in Los Angeles every few months). I have a wide variety of cloth from mills such as Guabello, Reda, Ariston, Loro Piana, VBC, etc.

The price for MTM suits starts at $650 for standard make (similar to Canali or Hickey Freeman) and $850 for hand made (nicer than Isaia, very close to RLPL). The suits in the galleries are all hand made. I'll post some pictures of a standard make suit soon.

I've sold suits in all price ranges but most tend to be around $995 - $1100 because people wisely choose the hand-made model with Italian fabrics. There is definitely cheaper MTM out there but one would be very hard pressed to find similar quality and workmanship in this price range.

I have three galleries of suit pictures linked in my signature.

What about sports coats? (sorry if this was already covered).
