I wanted to share my own experiences with Andrew as I have just received my first suit from him. I chose Andrew from many of the other online/forum operations because his process seemed the ost user friendly to me. I contacted Andrew and asked him what his price points were. Once I received this info, he asked if I lived near NYC (which I don't) so we could do a measuring. Since I couldn't, I asked Andrew if I could just mail him a jacket and trousers that fit me perfectly from which he could just take measurements. Andrew agreed and off they went. I also sent him photos of me wearing the jacket and trousers so we could address any fit issues or suggestions he may have.
Once Andrew received them, he contacted me about the fit of the suit I was ordering and and if I needed any adjustments from the items I mailed him. I did a few minor things, namely lengthening the jacket and the sleeves .5" and adding .5" to the rise of the trousers. Andrew said this wouldn't be a problem and then we moved on to discussing the suit details. Pretty standard stuff: 2-button, 3.5" lapels, overlapped sleeve buttons, etc.; all on his "handmade" suit option which included hand stitched button holes and subtle pick stitching on the coat and trousers. Everything was set and he sent the order off.
Here is the fabric, buttons and lining I chose:

It only took about 3.5 to 4 weeks for the suit to come and Andrew promptly got it to me in time for my conference this week in NYC. The fabric is very, very nice and is part of the Ariston 130s line. Out of the box the fit was pretty good but did need some minor adjustments. I had to let about .5" across the back while taking in about .5" in the waist. Also, I has to slim the trouser legs about .5" as they did come wider than expected. All very minor adjustments and have been noted for my next order. To add to this, Andrew has offered to reimburse me the alterations costs which is very generous.
Here are some photos of the final product. The left vent looks a little odd because it got folded under a little but you can see that is case and it is not an issue with the suit itself. Photo during a quick try on after picking up from the tailor so no tie or press at this point.

I will try to get some better photos the next time I wear the suit this week for an event. If anyone would like to see close up photos of anything specific, let me know and I will do my best to get one.
The entire process from start to finish was an absolute pleasure and I say that as a fan of mens tailoring and all things you see discussed here on the forums. I would definitely recommend Andrew Lock Tailoring if you want to take the plunge into the MTM world. His product, in my opinion, is top notch and his service to the customer is even better.
