Two quick photos of the sport coat. I think my sleeve got caught up some so it looks a bit short.

Lapel width is considered "wide." Ask AL about the fabric.

That looks great, Superfluous. What are your thoughts on it thus far?

Any chance of a photo with the jacket buttoned so we can better see the silhouette?

Not sure about the gret trousers if I'm honest, but jacket and shirt are cool. I'd probably go with white/cream trousers for that jacket shirt combo, especially if you have brown shoes/belt. I'd also consider shortening the jacket length by 2", I don't like to see jackets hang below the groin V, but perhaps it's just the way you are stood. The sleeve length looks ok.

While ultimately it is up to the customer, I like the length as it is. It looks great in relation to his hands and I like the way it covers the bottom of the rise. The quarters will also be drawn up naturally when the fastening button is closed.

Visited a repeat customer last night who made the mistake of opening the Loro Piana 170s book.

We are also doing a quarter lined sportcoat in this Reda fabric.

Andrew - I see L.A. and New York are the two places you're doing MTM.  when are you going to make it to Chicago?

Overall, of course, very nice. I prefer a lower buttoning stance. Although we lowered the stance, I think it couldn't be lowered enough because the pattern was based off a 38R and not a 38L. The silhouette could benefit a bit from having a lower stance as it dictates the waist suppression, but I think I'm going to take it to a tailor to see what we can do with it. I'll take some photos when I get a chance. Some changes I would make for next time would be higher armholes, slightly slimmer sleeve, and a lower button stance.

Lapel is a bit too wide for my tastes, but that's down to individual opinion. Fabric looks superb, though.
