Someone else take a stab on these. The bench grades are significantly cheaper than Allen Edmonds and most likely an upgrade. I might pick up another pair down the road; the boots look interesting.

Are you able to show and describe the shoulder a little more?

My Double Monks arrived last week, I wanted to spend some time in them before posting a review.

I'm a true D width and they fit great, toe box is comfy, the last isn't blobby and the finish looks great. I can already tell the leather is going to wear wonderfully over time. Also, customer service was great.

Big thumbs up for Andrew Lock shoes.

I wish I had a better picture but the suit came out really nice.

Perfect build for a one button jacket.

Everybody,

Just wanted to post a small note on my experience with the MTM suit program. I am pleased to say that I am the proud owner of the suit quoted below. I had a good experience and wanted to share it with the forum. I am receiving no compensation for my thoughts below.

After seeing some photos online, I figured I would give it a try, and so I began communicating AnGeLiCbOrIs via SF. It was a pleasure to talk about cloth options and style options, and I found something that fit in my budget. I decided to go the route of sending in a recently tailored suit to have my measurements copied. A few weeks later, I had the new suit sent to my home!

The quality of the work is excellent, especially for the price. The handmade stitching is top notch and is by far the best for the price-quality ratio I have come across, second only to what I could find with the top Neapolitan tailors (at a very different price range). It is as good or better than all the MTM outfits I've visited in NYC and a number of the true bespoke tailors as well. I did pay a little extra for the additional details, which was worth the surcharge. The measurements were copied very well, too. The house fabric that I chose also appears very nice, and we will see how it wears after a few uses.

There was one miss on the styling option, but I really didn't mind enough to raise it as an issue.

The takeaway is that I will be ordering again!

Thank you.

Can you do inset shirt sleeve shoulders instead of roped?

I got a suit done from Andrew Lock. Angelic is a super nice guy. He responds really quickly, and understands clothing. No high pressure sales, and he actually listens to what I want, which strangely enough is hard to find.

Ended up doing a Double Breasted suit inky blue/purpleish and it came out great. Working with him on a light grey and pink check sport coat and will def order more.

You're doing tailoring now as well as shoes? Geez, I didn't think it's been that long since I last visited this thread...

I just posted a review of some Andrew Lock double monks today over on my tumblr: http://brokeandbespoke.tumblr.com/post/30238769605/andrew-lock-shoes-longtime-styleforum-member-and#notes

They're great shoes, and the last is a little sleeker in person than it appears on the AL website.
