During the week, assuming my routine is the usual trip to work and back home immediately after, I carry keys and my wallet/phone. This seemed like a boring question to ask until I stumbled upon these "every day carry" videos. I watched a few, and this guy is my favorite. In another video he says that the striking baton makes a handy reaching tool when the salt shaker is out of reach at a restaurant

Those hardcore-EDC people are bonkers. Many of them tailor their wardrobe around carrying all their **** and being able to access it in whatever "tactical" situation might arise.

I carry my phone, wallet, keys, and insulin pump.

+1 nuts.

you can start off by looking at the color of his shirt and that tie, and that he hasn 't figured out to button the button down collar.

he has 4 or 5 flashlights? seriously?

+1 WTF How many people have gotten beneficial outcomes from carrying, as opposed to a devastating ones for themselves and/or others? just dumb.

"purpose of my EDC is to live a more successful life"

"nice business attire, nice dress slacks, nice shoes, a business shirt and tie" from another video he made

someone spent too much time watching army movies.

"successful life" - he looks like a huge loser.

if the effort and money that he spent on his custom made hidaway knives, those two pistols, the multiple custom made holsters was put into something reasonable, maybe he'd have a wife and kids.

also, considering how unheatlhy he looks, the one thing that he really should be carrying is a baby aspirin. it's much more likely that a baby aspirin will save his life rather than two handguns and 40 rounds of ammo.

also, he talks about how his paracord wristband will be usable as a tourniquit, but there isn't a chance in hell that he'd be able to unravel it and use it, with a big gaping hole in his thiegh. he has knives that he can reach quickly from each hand, but he doesn't bother to spend 10 bucks on a pocket tourniquit or a military pressure bandage. if he does get into a mass shooting situation, the medical supplies will save his life and the lives of friends and family a lot more than his two handguns.

He carries other crap in his vehicle.

"I live 60 miles from the border so there is alway a chance trouble could happen" (or something along those lines) is what he said in another video of his. I'm not sure if he said this because of the cartels or the illegal immigrants. Either way, I doubt he would be efficient at keeping anyone safe.

I have nothing against people who carry, and I would definitely consider carrying when hiking or in certain neighborhoods. But I think it takes an immense level of maturity and training to be efficient.

Where is crane, he made some very good points when I started a thread about gun recommendations and carrying.

Flashlights are like diamonds to these people. Okay, I could understand it if you're a handyman, or an electrician, etc, but the vast majority of these people must purposely put themselves into situations so they can have an excuse to use most of this stuff, I'm sure. I think of it as boycott syndrome. When I'm not at work I carry a firearm, and I still think these guys are nuts.

wallet, phone, set of keys (way too many keys, tbh), contact lens rewetting drops, and a little bit of cat food in case I encounter a kitty that needs to be fed.
