Looking to make a MTO shoe

Hello All-

I am looking for inspiration for a Meermin MTO shoe. I really like the EG Oundle, but won't wear it enough to justify the EG price. Pepe stated that they could make something similar. I am seeking advice on a good color combo. He states I can go all leather, all suede or combo. What do you think would be a good, versatile color combo? I am looking at burgundy leather and dark brown suede.

Thanks in advance.

g, I'm thinking of a light colored suede with a leather strap part. Light like these from HY:

163

This way you can rock them casually with jeans or chinos.

Thanks Nore, I like the Oundle look, thou. Meermin doesn't have much by the way of light suede. I am staying with them (Meermin) because I'll have a store credit in a few days.

im going to have a shoe made same style as the oundle with a navy calf and a medallion by bontoni.

my other thought is a nst boot with norwegian stitching in a tan with olive over tone.

just my thoughts of what I am contemplating getting

Sounds awesome, I have a soft spot for Bontoni, despite not yet owning any.

Pepe sent me some pictures of three different lasts. I am thinking of the suede and burgundy leather combo. If not, it will be a tan all leather pair.

A single monk. For some reason the Ama last doesn't seem slick. It fits, though.

I got the burgundy leather and dark brown suede shoe on the Olfe last, with brass buckle. We'll see how it turns out, for that price, I am okay with it.
