Luxire Online MTM - Opinions on fabric, overall shirt quality, customer service?

After seeing a post in the "Folded Up Shirt P0rn" thread from one of the moderators, emptym, I decided to give a new online MTM a shot. I should be receiving the "test" shirt in the next few days and if I can get the fit down, then I'm hoping to order several more. They offer free return shipping if you're not 100% satisfied and the introductory price is $60/shirt so I figure I don't really have anything to lose. This will be my first time experimenting with an online MTM site, and I know next to nothing about shirt fabrics. Some of the fabrics include:
  • Monti
  • Getzner
  • Albini
  • Manifattura di Valle Brembana

So I'm looking for a few things:

  1. Opinions on the fabric makers above. Are they quality? Any of them better than the others?
  2. Opinions on the quality of the shirt, including stitching, buttons, and anything else you look for on a shirt
  3. Consistency. Anyone who has ordered multiple shirts, how consistent were the sizes?
  4. Any other thoughts or opinions on the company, ordering experience, etc.

As you have asked for opinions, and mine will be considered biased, will directly not answer the questions.

Would like to assure you though on the following:

1. Fabric: Most fabrics we carry are 2 ply and all of them are of a good quality. We stand by them, wash after wash.


2. Stitching is 20 SPI, single needle, pucker free, fraying free, blemish free. Buttons are thick Mother-of-pearl, 3mm to 3.5 mm Australian shell. 3mm are white and go well with white shirts, The 3.5mm are translucent, off white for shirts on others colors but can be put on white shirts if requested.

3. Consistency: This is one area I can confidently say that there would not be a problem. The way each shirt is made, the sizing would remain exactly the same as ordered.

4. Company: Can only say that you would never have a reason to complain.
