It's damn hard to find as it's in an office building and not a shopping arcade.

Luk-cha,

Is Eddie suit made in mainland?
He said he always need to go to mainland, and once I called, the ring tone was mainland ring tone, and he said he was in his workshop at that time.

He's staying at some good hotels. The NY Palace is about $600 a night for a regular room. I assume he will have a suite, and that's probably going to cost a grand. How can he afford that?

It's likely that he has some form of tie-ups with the hotels and/ or that they are able to accomodate any additional requests/ demands a travelling tailor might require in terms of logistics, storage and supplies. I will not be surprised if they may have worked some sort of deals to provide the staff uniforms for some of those hotels he's staying at. Plus, don't you guys pay a little more for suits if a tailor travels out.

I was of the impression that he travels under Ascot Chang's tab, no?

I'll post a pic of my jacket eventually. It's not perfect, but no first commission ever is. The question is how open GY is to making the necessary alterations and if a second jacket shows a marked improvement.

Do you think its worth it to ask him to remove some of the shoulder padding on my first suit? Or he will consider that too much of an alteration and will ask me to incorporate that request on my 2nd commision?

Hard to say, but I don't think it hurts to ask. The jacket pictured in my thread below is from GY so obviously I will be asking him for some pretty extensive alterations on it.

Interesting coincidence that Gordon Yao and Patrick Chu of W.W. Chan will both be in the Beverly Hills area on the same day (November 16) at no great distance from each other!
