The birthday card template works rather nicely for me. It does look a little too "neat" to be effortless, but when I don't use it I find myself constantly pulling up the square because it keeps sinking into the pocket. With the template, even a silk square stays perfectly in place all day. I really need to invest in a linen square though.. I think it would create a nicer contrast and is a more subtle addition than a silk square.
