Alden MTO Boot Group Order via Alden DC - Page 25

I've always wanted a dark brown suede indy boot with commando soles, antique edge dressing. Missed out on the leathersoul version a while back.

Thanks for the update on the Thor boot - I'm not gonna hold my breath on this getting confirmed anytime soon, but it's nice to know it's still on their radar.

In the meantime, I'd be interested in either a dark brown suede or brown CXL Indy boot on commando sole with all eyelets (if speedhooks I'm out). I'm not too particular about the last.

+1. Let's make it happen for 2018!

A little optimistic, aren't you? smile.gif

I would not mind an Indy boot or tanker boot in dark brown suede, with a commando sole or a double oiled sole. No speed hooks would also be great. Any on any last but the barrie, since they will not make my size in that.

If its a non-shell boot it should be able to get made much quicker. Key word should.

All eyelets for me as well. How many do we need for this to happen?
Yeah this is sounding really good to me:

Indy boot
Dark brown suede
All eyelets
Commando sole
Antique reverse welt (preferences on 270 vs 360?)
Keep it a true Indy with Trubalance last?

I'd vote for the 270.  My preference would be basically anything other than Trubalance (or Barrie)--Indys on Plaza looks pretty great (Grant would be cool as well).

Grant might be a good choice...not sure I've ever seen an Indy on that last.

I can do any last, but Plaza or Grant are rarer in an Indy and it would be cool to get a more unique boot. There will likely be a decent number of suede Trubalance Indy offerings for sale this fall from various retailers.

I would've preferred the usual trubalance, but I can do the plaza if that is the consensus. Not a fan of the Grant last though.

My preferences:

Plaza/TB
360 welt on plaza
270 welt on tb
commando soles
antique edge trim
all eyelets
leather pull tab

Agreed. I'm still not 100% sure on my Plaza or Grant size yet, so I'd have to work that out before jumping on this. I know all the general rules for what my size should be, but it would be nice to try something on first to see how it feels on my foot.

I'm on board with all this except the pull tab, but I can remove that easily so it's no big deal.
