I had my name on the list for a pair of the AFPOS whiskey dub monks. I see the pre-order is no longer on the website, and I thought they were expected in January. I'll be really bummed if this MTO falls apart and/or they won't ship a MTO project to the US.

Just recently stumbled onto this thread and love all your shoes....I'm especially intrigued at the prospect of MTO shoes.  I only recently started upgrading my wardrobe with MTM garments (I'm 5'1...ish) and it's always been a pain finding shoes that fit just right....what is this AFPOS acronym that keeps popping up?  I'm guessing it's Alfred Sargent-related.  And about how much does a MTO shoe in shell typically go for?  Around the $500-$700 or $800-$1000 price range?  I know it's a broad question but generally what would one expect to pay?

I have a pair of Henrys coming in.  Excited.

AFPOS is A Fine Pair of Shoes. There is a recent moratorium on them selling the Exclusive line outside of the EU. SF member had previously commissioned MTO through them (six pair minimum). Frequently it was handgrade shoes to the Exclusive line standards, which are lower than their handgrade which is on par with EG or G&G.

AFPOS used to be a SF affiliated vendor, but they stopped right around the time they became unable to sell AS Exclusives outside the EU. I think they can still do MTO Handgrades on a one-of basis, but those are more in the $1000+ range for calf. I have no idea what they'd be for shell, but it would be a lot more.
